  • Ram Prasad Bismil (11 June 1897 – 19 December 1927) was an Indian revolutionary who participated in Mainpuri Conspiracy of 1918, and the Kakori conspiracy of 1925, both against British Empire. As well as being a freedom fighter, he was also a patriotic poet and wrote in Hindi and Urdu using the pen names Ram, Agyat and Bismil. But, he became popular with the last name “Bismil” only.
  • Julia Margaret Cameron (11 June 1815 – 26 January 1879) was a British photographer. She became known for her portraits of celebrities of the time, and for photographs with Arthurian and other legendary themes. Cameron’s photographic career was short, spanning eleven years of her life (1864–1875).

  • Ghanshyam Das “G.D.” Birla (April 10, 1894 – June 11, 1983) was an Indian businessman and member of the influential Birla Family. Ghanshyam Das Birla was born on 10 April 1894 at Pilani village, in the Indian state then known as Rajputana, as a member of the Marwari Maheshwari community.
  • Chhabi Biswas  (12 July 1900 – 11 June 1962) was a much revered Bengali character actor, primarily known for his performances in Tapan Sinha’s Kabuliwala and Satyajit Ray’s films Jalshaghar (The Music Room, 1958), Devi (The Goddess, 1960) and Kanchenjungha (1962).
