Rajinikanth (born 12 December 1950 as Shivaji Rao Gaikwad) is an Indian film actor, media personality, and cultural icon. He made his debut as an actor in the National Film Award–winning motion picture Apoorva Raagangal (1975), directed by K. Balachander, whom the actor considers his mentor.
Yuvraj Singh  (born 12 December 1981) is an Indian cricketer, and the son of former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi movie star Yograj Singh. He has been a member of the Indian cricket team since 2000 (ODIs) and played his first Test match in 2003. He was the vice-captain of the ODI team from late-2007 to late-2008.
Sharadchandra Govindrao Pawar born 12 December 1940), popularly known as Sharad Pawar, is the president of the Nationalist Congress Party which he founded in 1999, after separating from the Indian National Congress. He has previously held the posts of Minister of Defence and Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Cheran   is a Tamil film director from Tamil Nadu, India. He has won the Indian National Film Award thrice for Vetri Kodi Kattu (2000), Autograph (2004), and Thavamai Thavamirundhu (2005), and is a five-time Filmfare Award winner as well. Cheran was born in Pazhaiyurpatty near Madurai district. His father Pandian was a Projector Operator in touring theatre.
Peter Eardley Sarstedt (born 10 December 1941, Delhi, India) is an Anglo-Indian singer-songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist who has recorded a number of well-known and successful albums and singles since the 1960s. Sarstedt was born in India and attended Victoria Boys’ School in Kurseong, in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. His family relocated to England in 1954.

Ramanand Sagar (29 December 1917 – 12 December 2005) (born Chandramauli Chopra) was an Indian film director. He is most famous for making the extremely popular Ramayan television series, a 78-part TV adaptation of the ancient Hindu epic of the same name, starring Arun Govil as Lord Ram and Deepika Chikhalia as Sita. Ramanand Sagar was born at Asal Guru Ke near Lahore. His great-grandfather.
M. G. Soman was an actor in Malayalam film. Along with Sukumaran and Jayan he was considered to be one of the superstars of Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. Soman’s last film was Lelam in 1997. He was born in Tiruvalla, Travancore. Soon after retiring from the Indian Air Force, Soman joined a drama troupe and then to moved to the film industry.
Pramod Chakravorty (15 August 1929 – 12 December 2004) was an Indian director and film producer. Pramod Chakravorty was born on 15 August 1929 in West Bengal, India. Became a producer in the 1958 by 12 O’Clock. Most known for his films, Love in Tokyo (1966, Filmfare Nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role.
Bābu Genu Said  (1908 – December 12, 1930) was an Indian freedom fighter, a revolutionary. Babu Genu Said was a worker in one of the cotton mills in Mumbai. He was an active participant in the protests, organized by Indian freedom fighters, against the import of foreign-made cloth.
Jayadevappa Halappa Patel  (October 1, 1930 – December 12, 2000) was the 15th Chief Minister of Karnataka. J.H. Patel was born in a Lingayat family on October 1, 1930 in Kariganur, now in Davanagere district, Karnataka. A Graduate in Law, He married Sarvamangala and had three sons Trishul, Satish and Mahima. He was a great orator, a witty leader.
