Anish Kapoor, CBE, RA, Padma Bhushan (born 12 March 1954) is an Indian-born British sculptor. Born in Mumbai, Kapoor has lived and worked in London since the early 1970s when he moved to study art, first at the Hornsey College of Art and later at the Chelsea School of Art and Design.

Yashwantrao Balwantrao Chavan (12 March 1911 – 25 November 1984) was the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra after the division of Bombay State and the fifth Deputy Prime Minister of India.

Purva Bedi (born 1974) is an Indian American actress. Although she was born in Chandigarh, she was brought up in Belgium and the United States. She attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science and graduated in 1992.

Jitendra Joshi was the first mayor of Ahmedabad. Jitendra Joshi was born on March 12, 1866 at Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation was founded by Britishers in 1902.

Kumar Shri Indrajitsinhji Madhavsinhji ( pronunciation (help·info)) (15 June 1937 – 12 March 2011) was an Indian cricketer who played in four Tests from 1964 to 1969 as a wicketkeeper-batsman. Indrajitsinhji was born in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
