Prachi Desai  (born 12 September 1988) is an Indian film and television actress. She is best known for her role as Bani Walia in the Hindi television drama Kasamh Se which aired on Zee TV. Prachi is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India.

Feroze Jehangir Gandhi or Feroze Gandhy 12 September 1912 – 8 September 1960) was an Indian politician and journalist, and publisher of the The National Herald and The Navjivan newspapers from Lucknow. He became a member of the provincial parliament (1950–1952), and later a member of the Lok Sabha, the Lower House of India’s parliament.

Amala Akkineni (born 12 September 1968) is an Indian film actress and Animal welfare activist. She has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. Amala was born on September 12, 1968 in West Bengal to an Irish mother and Bengali father. She has an elder brother and sister.

Puneet Issar is an Indian actor and director, most famous for his role as Duryodhana in the TV adaptation (1988–1990) of the Mahabharata, and directing Garv: Pride and Honour (2004) starring Salman Khan. His other notable roles are in Border, 1997 war film, directed by J. P. Dutta ] and second lead in cult Indian horror film Purana Mandir in 1983.

Vijay Balakrishnan popularly known by his stage name, Krish, is a Tamil playback singer. Krish debuted as a playback singer in the Tamil film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (2006), with the song “Manjal Veyyil”. His song “June Ponal” from Unnale Unnale made him a household name, after which he was a predominant singer for Jayaraj’s compositions.

Manjula  (5 April 1951 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian film actress who acted in Kannada language films. She was one of the most successful and prominent actress of Kannada films. She has acted in more than 100 films Manjula was born in Honenahalli, a village in Tumkur district on 5 April 1951 to Shivanna and Deveramma.

Raj Singh Dungarpur (December 19, 1935 – September 12, 2009) was a former president of Board of Control for Cricket in India. He played first class cricket for 16 years and was in and out of the Board of Control for more than 20 years. He was a selector of the national team for two terms. He also managed the Indian cricket team four times on overseas tours.

Ibrahim Adil Shah II (1556 – September 12, 1627), of the Adil Shahi dynasty, was the king of Bijapur Sultanate. Ali Adil Shah’s father, Ibrahim Adil Shah I, had divided power between the Sunni nobles, the Habshis and the Deccanis. However, Ali Adil Shah favored Shi’as. After the death of Ali Adil Shah I in 1580 , the nobles of the kingdom decided to appoint Imran Ibrahim.

Rangeya Raghav (17 January 1923 – 12 September 1962), birth name Tirumalla Nambakkam Viraraghava Acharya, was born in Agra, a city of Uttar Pradesh state, India. A prominent Hindi writer of the 20th century, he completed his post-graduation studies from St. John’s College, Agra, and later completed his Ph.D. on Guru Gorakhnath.

12-September-1686 Aurangzeb ended Adilshah’s kingdom. The garrison lost heart and surrendered Sikandar who was sent to the state prison at Daulatabad. Bijapur was invested and the city opened its gates to the Mughals. Bijapur as an independent kingdom ceased to exist.
