Sunidhi Chauhan (born Nidhi Chauhan on 14 August 1983) is an Indian playback singer, best known for her Hindi film songs in Bollywood. She has also recorded songs for Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati films .

Ram Mohun Roy, Ram Mohun also spelled Rammohun, Rammohan, or Ram Mohan (22 May 1772 – 27 September 1833), was an Indian religious, social, and educational reformer who challenged traditional Hindu culture and indicated the lines of progress for Indian society under British rule.

Mohnish Bahl is an Indian actor working in the Indian film industry and on Indian television. Mohnish Bahl is a member of the Mukherjee-Samarth family. His parents were the late actress Nutan and late Rajnish Bahl a lieutenant commander in the Indian Navy.

Jennifer Dinshaw Kotwal is a Parsi model and actress from Mumbai, India. She went to school at Villa Teresa High School in Mumbai, and completed her studies with a degree in Economics at HR College, also in Mumbai. She started her acting career with Hindi television serials such as Just Mohabbat.

Peter Derek Vaughan Prince (Bangalore, 14 August 1915–Jerusalem, 24 September 2003) was an international Bible teacher whose daily radio programme Derek Prince Legacy Radio (presently hosted by author Stephen Mansfield) broadcasts to half the population of the world in various languages.

Shammi Kapoor (born Shamsher Raj Prithviraj Kapoor; 21 October 1931. – 14 August 2011) was an Indian film actor and director. He was a prominent lead actor in Hindi cinema from the late 1950s until the early 1970s and played supportng roles from 1974 to 2011.

Vilasrao Dagadojirao Deshmukh (born May 26, 1945), popularly known as Vilasrao is the current Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences. He has previously held the posts of Minister of Rural Development and Minister of Panchayati Raj, Government of India and Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India.

Mr. Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav (born January 15, 1926 – August 14, 1984), or KD Jadhav, widely known as ‘Pocket Dynamo’, was independent India’s first individual Olympic medalist when he won the freestyle wrestling bronze medal at the 1952 Helsinki Games.

Narayana Kasturi (December 25, 1897 – August 14, 1987) was born Kasturi Ranganatha Sharma in North Travancore, which now forms part of the modern day Indian state of Kerala.

Ronald Ernest Stephen Yeldham (18 August 1902–14 August 1983) was an Indian born cricketer. He played six first-class cricket in British India between 1925 and 1927, including one for the MCC. He later played twice for Egypt against HM Martineau’s XI.
