Chauhan began to sing at the age of four and was discovered by a local TV anchor.
- Ram Mohun Roy, Ram Mohun also spelled Rammohun, Rammohan, or Ram Mohan (22 May 1772 – 27 September 1833), was an Indian religious, social, and educational reformer who challenged traditional Hindu culture and indicated the lines of progress for Indian society under British rule. He is sometimes called the “Maker of Modern India”.

- Gautam Rode also known as Gautam Rhode (गौतम रोडे) (born 14 August 1977) is an Indian actor and a former model, working in the Hindi Film Industry and TV serials. Shammi Kapoor is hailed as one of the most entertaining lead actors that Hindi cinema has ever produced.
- Vilasrao Dagadojirao Deshmukh (born May 26, 1945), popularly known as Vilasrao is the current Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences. He has previously held the posts of Minister of Rural Development and Minister of Panchayati Raj, Government of India and Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India.
- Mr. Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav (born January 15, 1926 – August 14, 1984), or KD Jadhav, widely known as ‘Pocket Dynamo’, was independent India’s first individual Olympic medalist when he won the freestyle wrestling bronze medal at the 1952 Helsinki Games. Since 1900 when Norman Pritchard won two silver medals in athletics.
- Ronald Ernest Stephen Yeldham (18 August 1902–14 August 1983) was an Indian born cricketer. He played six first-class cricket in British India between 1925 and 1927, including one for the MCC. He later played twice for Egypt against HM Martineau’s XI.

- 1862 – Bombay High Court was established for Maharashtra, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu territory. This court has benches at Nagpur, Panaji and Aurangabad.
