Guru Ravidass (also Raidas, Rohidas and Ruhidas in eastern India) was a North Indian Sant mystic of the bhakti movement who was active in the 15th century CE. Venerated in the region of Uttar Pradesh as well as the Indian state of Maharashtra, his devotional songs and verses made a lasting impact upon the bhakti movement.
Neil Nitin Mukesh Chand Mathur born 15 January 1982), professionally known as Neil Nitin Mukesh or Neil Mukesh, is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. He is the son of singer Nitin Mukesh and grandson of the legendary singer Mukesh.
Bhanu Priya is an Indian actress. She was a former leading actress of the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industries from 1980 to 1993. She also acted in few Bollywood films in the 1990s. She was born in Rangampeta village, which is near to Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh, on 15 January 1966 in a Telugu family
Kumari Mayawati (born 15 January 1956) is an Indian politician who is a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. She heads the Bahujan Samaj Party, which represents the Bahujans or Dalits, the weakest strata of Indian society.
Bharathi Vishnuvardhan (born 15 January 1951) is an Indian actress who has performed in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu language films. She was most popular as an actress in the Kannada film industry during the late 1960s to 1980s.

Ramgopal Ghosh (1815 – 1868) was an Indian businessman, social reformer, orator and one of the leaders of the Young Bengal group. He was called the Indian Demosthenes. Ghosh was one of the persons who helped John Elliot Drinkwater Bethune to establish his girls school.
Maharajadhiraj Mirza Maharao Sri Sir Khengarji III Sawai Bahadur, GCSI, GCIE, KIH (23 August 1866-15 January 1942) was a progressive and one of the longest ruling, Maharao of the Princely State of Cutch from 1875 to 1942.
Tapan Sinha (2 October 1924 – 15 January 2009) was a Indian film director. He was arguably the most uncompromising filmmaker outside the orbit of Parallel Cinema. Sinha was born in Kolkata, [West Bengal].
Devaneya Pavanar (lived 1902–1981), was a prominent Indian Tamil author who wrote over 35 books. Additionally, he was a staunch proponent of the “Pure Tamil movement” and initiated the Etymological Dictionary Project primarily to bring out the roots of Tamil words.
Homai Vyarawalla (9 December 1913 – 15 January 2012), commonly known by her pseudonym “Dalda 13,” was India’s first woman photojournalist. First active in the late 1930s, she retired in the early 1970s. In 2011, she was awarded Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
