Sania Mirza (born 15 November 1986, in Mumbai) is a professional Indian tennis player, well known for her powerful forehand ground strokes. She is the first ever Indian to break into the top 30 WTA rankings in singles and top 10 in doubles. Mirza has defeated many top players, namely Svetlana Kuznetsova, Vera Zvonareva, Marion Bartoli.

Shaleen Bhanot is an Indian actor from Jabalpur who got his start on the reality show MTV Roadies on MTV India. He went on to appear in several Indian TV series and movies. He currently plays the lead role of Ranveer on Indian series Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein. He has acted in Saat Phere as Karan on Zee TV, and in Kulvaddhu on Sony TV where he played Agni.

Ghantasala Sai Srinivas Thaman Sivakumar, known popularly as S. Thaman is an Indian film music composer who works for Telugu and Tamil films. Despite debuting his film career as an actor in Shankar’s Boys, he has since established himself as a prominent music director in the South Indian film industries. He was born in Andhrapradesh, Tamil Nadu, India.

Kuldeep Manak was a noted Punjabi singer from Indian Punjab. He was best known for singing a rare genre of Punjabi music, Kali, also known by its plural from kalian or kaliyan. Manak was born as Latif Muhammad (Urdu: لطیف محمد) on 15 November 1948, to father Nikka Khan, in the village of Jalal in Bathinda district of East Punjab.

Ganesh Prasad (1876 – 1935) was an Indian mathematician who specialized in the theory of potentials, theory of functions of a real variable, Fourier series and the theory of surfaces. He was trained at the Universities of Cambridge and Göttingen and on return to India he helped develop the culture of mathematical research in India.

Vinoba Bhave (September 11, 1895 – November 15, 1982) often called Acharya (Sanskrit for teacher), was an Indian advocate of nonviolence and human rights. He is best known for the Bhoodan Andolan. He is considered as a National Teacher of India and the spiritual successor of Mahatma Gandhi.

Bidhayak Bhattacharya (7 February 1907 – 15 November 1986) was an Indian playwright, litterateur and journalist. He was born on 7 February 1907 at Ziaganj in Murshidabad, West Bengal. His birth name was Bagalaranjan, he was better known as ‘Bidhayak’, a name given him by Rabindranath Tagore. His pen-names were ‘Yashodhar Misra’ and ‘Manas Das’.

Vasant Shankar Huzurbazar (September 15, 1919 – November 15, 1991) was an Indian statistician from Kolhapur. Huzurbazar was the founder head of the department of statistics, University of Pune from 1953 to 1976. From 1979 to 1991, he served as professor at University of Denver, Colorado until his death.
