Gurbaksh Singh Chahal (born July 17, 1982) is an Indian-American internet entrepreneur and a best-selling author. By the age of 25, he founded and sold two advertising companies for a total of US$340 million. Chahal was born in Tarn Taran Sahib in Punjab, India to Avtar Singh and Arjinder Chahal.
P. Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is a South Indian filmmaker who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Bharathiraja displayed a story-teller’s potential from an early age. He is known for his realistic and sensitive portrayal of village-life in his movies.
Vishnu Vishal is a Tamil film actor. He started his acting career as one of the main leads in the popular film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu. Since then he appeared in some two other movies of nearly the same genre. Dr Indraprasad Gordhanbhai Patel IAS GCSI (11 November 1924 – 17 July 2005) popularly known as I. G. Patel, was the fourteenth Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 1 December 1977 to 15 September 1982. Patel was an economist and before joining the Reserve Bank as Governor had served as Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and thereafter as Deputy Administrator at the UNDP.
Marsha Singh (born 11 October 1954) is a British Labour Party politician, who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bradford West from 1997 to 2012, when he resigned due to ill health. Singh has a degree in Languages, Politics and Economics of Modern Europe from Loughborough University.
Kanan Devi (22 April 1916 – 17 July 1992) was an Indian actress and singer. She was among the early singing stars of Indian cinema, and is credited popularly as the first star of Bengali Cinema. Her singing style, usually in rapid tempo, was used instrumentally in some of the biggest hits of New Theatres, Kolkata.
M.P. Shankar (20 August 1935 – 17 July 2008) was a veteran Kannada film actor. He acted in films like Satya Harishchandra as “Veera Baahu”, Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu, Ratnamanjari etc. He produced the film Gandhada Gudi starring Rajkumar.
