Monica Bedi (born 18 January 1975) is an Indian/Norwegian actress, television-presenter, television-contestant. She debuted in Hindi films in mid 1990s. Bedi was born to Dr. Prem Kumar Bedi and Shakuntala Bedi on January 18, 1975 in a village named Chabbewal in the district Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

Joseph Rudyard Kipling (30 December 1865 – 18 January 1936) was an English short-story writer, poet, and novelist chiefly remembered for his tales and poems of British soldiers in India, and his tales for children. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh; 28 May 1923 – 18 January 1996), popularly known by his initials NTR, was an Indian film actor, director, producer, and a politician. He is also called as “Anna Garu”(Elder Brother) by Telugu People.
Harivansh Rai Shrivastav alias Bachchan (27 November 1907 – 18 January 2003), was a noted Indian poet of Chhayavaad literary movement (romantic upsurge) of early 20th century Hindi literature. He was also a famous poet of the Hindi Kavi Sammelan.
Saadat Hassan Manto (May 11, 1912 – January 18, 1955) was a short story writer of the Urdu language. He is best known for his short stories, “Bu” (Odour), “Khol Do” (Open It), “Thanda Gosht” (Cold Meat), and his magnum opus, “Toba Tek Singh”. Manto was also a film and radio scriptwriter and a journalist.
Kundan Lal (K.L.) Saigal (11 April 1904 – 18 January 1947) was an Indian singer and actor who is considered the first superstar of the Hindi film industry, which was centered in Calcutta during Saigal’s time, but is currently centered in Mumbai.
