Soundarya (Born Sowmya; 18 July 1972 – 17 April 2004) was an Indian film actress who appeared primarily in Telugu films besides acting in many Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and also in a Bollywood film.
Sukhwinder Singh is an Indian singer best known for working as Bollywood playback artist. Singh is famous for singing “Chaiyya Chaiyya” for which he won the Best Male Playback Award at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. The song, from Mani Ratnam’s 1998 film Dil Se.., was composed by A. R. Rahman, written by Gulzar, and sung in duet with Sapna Awasthi.
William Makepeace Thackeray ( 18 July 1811 – 24 December 1863) was an English novelist of the 19th century. He was famous for his satirical works, particularly Vanity Fair, a panoramic portrait of English society. Thackeray, an only child, was born in Calcutta, India.
Jayachama Rajendra Wadiyar Bahadur (18 July 1919 – 23 September 1974) was the 25th and the last Maharaja of the princely state of Mysore from 1940 to 1950. He was a noted philosopher, musicologist, political thinker and philanthropist. He was the only son of Yuvaraja Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar and Yuvarani Kempu Cheluvaja Amanni.

Vaali (born T. S. Rangarajan on 29 October 1931) is a Tamil poet and lyricist who writes Tamil poetry and film song lyrics. He has also acted in several films including Sathya, Hey Ram, Paarthale Paravasam and Poikkal Kudhirai. He was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, India’a forth highest civilian honour.
Samarla Venkata Ranga Rao (3 July 1918 – 18 July 1974) Popularly Known as S.V.R. was an Indian theater actor, Tollywood actor, director and producer. He was popularly known as “Viswa Nata Chakravarthi.”
Jatin Kanakia (c. June 28, 1953 – July 18, 1999) was an Indian actor. Best known for comedy roles, his career ranged from working in Gujarati plays, Hindi television shows and Hindi Bollywood movies. His skill and success earned him the informal title of being the “Prince of Comedy.” Jatin Kanakia was born in a Gujarati Hindu family in 1953.
Annabhau Sathe (1 August 1920 – 18 July 1969) was a social reformer and writer from Maharashtra, India. Sathe was born in the village of Wategaon near Sangli in a family belonging to the Dalit Mang community.
