Nayantara (born 18 November 1985 as Diana Mariam Kurian) is an Indian film actress who mainly appears in Tamil films along with Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. During her career she has won one Filmfare Award among seven nominations in three different languages.

Neha Bhasin is an Indian singer-songwriter, performer, and TV hostess and was a member of the Indian pop girl group Viva!. Neha Bhasin was born on November 18, 1982 in Delhi in a Punjabi Khatri family, India to Ashok Bhasin and Rekha Bhasin and has an elder sister and a younger brother.

Shantaram Rajaram Vankudre (18 November 1901 – 30 October 1990) referred to as V. Shantaram was a renowned Indian filmmaker, film producer and actor. He is most known for his films like Dr. Kotnis Ki Amar Kahani (1946), Amar Bhoopali (1951), Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje (1955), Do Aankhen Barah Haath (1957), Navrang (1959), Duniya Na Mane (1937), Pinjra (1972).

Zubeen Garg (born 18 November 1972) is a singer and composer from Assam, India, in the Bollywood and Assamese music scene. He plays dhols, guitar, dotora, mandolin, keyboard and various percussion instruments. Garg hails from Jorhat, a city in upper Assam.

Kamal Nath (born 18 November 1946) is an Indian politician and the current Union Cabinet Minister of Urban Development. He is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). Born in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Allamah Shibli Nomani (June 3, 1857 – November 18, 1914, Azamgarh) was a respected scholar of Islam from Indian subcontinent during British Raj. He was born at Bindwal in Azamgarh district of present-day Uttar Pradesh. He is known for the founding the Shibli National College in 1883 and the Darul Mussanifin in Azamgarh.

Abrar Alvi (1927 – 18 November 2009) was an Indian film writer, director and actor. Most of his notable works are from the 1950s, 1960s done with Guru Dutt. He wrote some of the most respected works of Indian cinema, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Kaagaz Ke Phool, and Pyaasa which have an avid following world over.

Dhirendra Nath Ganguly (26 March 1893 – 18 November 1978), better known as Dhiren Ganguly or D.G , was a Dadasaheb Phalke Award winning and Padma Bhushan recipient film enterpreneur/actor/director of Bengali Cinema. He had set up a number of film production companies: Indo British Film company, British Dominion Films, Lotus Film Company.

Thomas Frognall Dibdin (1776 – 18 November 1847), English bibliographer, born at Calcutta, was the son of Thomas Dibdin, the sailor brother of Charles Dibdin. Dibdin was orphaned at a young age. His father died in 1778 while returning to England and his mother died one of the following two years, and an elderly maternal aunt eventually assumed responsibility for Dibdin.
