Tyler Seguin (born January 31, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing right wing for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected second overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Bruins. He finished the regular season with 29 goals, the most on the team. He finished the season with a plus minus of 34.

Dov Charney (born January 31, 1969, Montreal, Canada) is the founder and CEO of American Apparel, a clothing manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer which he started at age 20. Charney is known for his success as an entrepreneur, and passion for simple clothing. His “contrarian” leadership style, which he feels promotes creativity, has drawn both extensive praise and criticism.

Richard Clarence Dudley (born January 31, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario) is currently an assistant general manager for the Montreal Canadiens and former player. Dudley was previously the general manager of several hockey teams. Dudley played in the World Hockey Association and in the National Hockey League.

Camille Joseph Wilfred “The Eel” Henry (January 31, 1933 – September 11, 1997) was a professional ice hockey left winger who played for the New York Rangers, the Chicago Black Hawks and the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League. Born in Quebec City, Henry, nicknamed ‘The Eel’ played in the Quebec Junior Hockey League with the Quebec Citadelles during his junior career.

Matt Minglewood (born Roy Alexander Batherson, 31 January 1947 in Moncton, New Brunswick) is a Canadian musician whose style can be described as a blend of country, blues, folk, roots and rock. Minglewood was raised in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, later moving to Glace Bay, Nova Scotia where he currently resides. He is well known for his ballads

Sir William Samuel Stephenson, CC, MC, DFC (23 January 1897 – 31 January 1989) was a Canadian soldier, airman, businessman, inventor, spymaster, and the senior representative of British intelligence for the entire western hemisphere during World War II. He is best known by his wartime intelligence codename Intrepid. Many people consider him to be one of the real-life inspirations for James Bond.

Gordon Rupert Dickson (November 1, 1923 – January 31, 2001) was an American science fiction author. Dickson was born in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1923. After the death of his father, he moved with his mother to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1937. He served in the United States Army, from 1943 to 1946, and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, in 1948.

Norman Jaques (June 29, 1880 – January 31, 1949) was a farmer and a Canadian federal politician who represented the electoral district of Wetaskiwin in the Canadian House of Commons from 1935 to 1949. Jaques was a member of the Social Credit Party. Jaques was born in London, England, and attended Eastborne College in Sussex.

Sir John Beverley Robinson, 1st Baronet CB, (26 July 1791 – 31 January 1863) was a lawyer, judge and political figure in Upper Canada. Robinson was born in 1791 at Berthier, Lower Canada, the son of Christopher Robinson, a United Empire Loyalist of one of the First Families of Virginia, whose grandfather came there in 1641 as secretary to Sir William Berkeley.

Keith Calder Norton (January 26, 1941 – January 31, 2010) was a Canadian politician and public servant. He served as a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1975 to 1985, and was until 2005 the chief commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Norton was educated at Queen’s University in Kingston.
