Abhaya Caranaravinda Bhaktivedanta Svami (born Abhay Charan De; 1 September 1896 – 14 November 1977) was an Indian spiritual teacher and the founder-preceptor of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), commonly known as the “Hare Krishna Movement”.

Jitendra Kumar is an Indian actor famous for his roles in comedy sketches of The Viral Fever. He has established himself as the superstar of Indian web series world and is widely known for his characters Jeetu Bhaiya, Munna Jazbaati, Gittu and Arjun Kejriwal, (a parody version of Arvind Kejriwal, Indian politician & Delhi Chief Minister).

Padma Parvati Lakshmi Vaidynathan (born September 1, 1970), known professionally as Padma Lakshmi ( is an American author, actress, model, television host, and executive producer.She is the host of the US cooking competition program Top Chef. She has hosted the show continuously since season 2 (2006), with season 16 (2018) being the latest.

Manoj Pahwa (born 1 September 1963) is an Indian film and television actor who is noted for his role as Bhatia in the comedy series Office Office (2001). He has acted in over 45 films as a character actor, including 7½ Phere (2005), Being Cyrus (2005), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Dabangg 2 (2012), Jolly LLB (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Mulk (2018).

Sonam Wangchuk (born 6 September 1966) is an Indian engineer, innovator and education reformist. He is the founding-director of the Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL), which was founded in 1988 by a group of students who had been in his own words, the ‘victims’ of an alien education system foisted on Ladakh.

1-September-1798 England signs treaty with Nizam of Hyderabad, India

1-September-1921 Madhav Krishnaji Mantri, right-hand batsman and wicket-keeper, was born at Nasik, Maharashtra. He was the Indian team selector from 1964 to 1968 and was also the team manager in 1990.

1-September-1930 Suhasini Ganguly, freedom fighter, was arrested and send to Hijali Jail for her revolutionary activities. She later lived a low profiled life after release from prison.

1-September-1942 Rasbihari Bose established the Indian National Army
