Velikkakathu Sankaran Achuthanandan (born 20 October 1923) is an Indian politician and a former Chief Minister of the state of Kerala. He had been a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) since 1985, and until July 2009, when he was reverted to the Central Committee of the party owing to his ideological dispositions.
Siddhartha Shankar Ray (20 October 1920 – 6 November 2010) was an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress. He was a prominent barrister, Punjab Governor and Education minister of India. He was also the ambassador of India to the United States of America and served as the Chief Minister of West Bengal from 1972 to 1977.

C Sridhar (22 July 1933 – 20 October 2008) was a South Indian screenwriter and film director. Sridhar hailed from Chitthamur, a village near Madurantakam, Tamil Nadu. He studied at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School (Chengalpattu), where he began writing and staging plays while he was in Grade 7. He entered films as a dialogue writer when his play Ratha Pasam was adapted as a film.
