Kulbhushan Kharbanda is an Indian actor, who worked in Hindi and Punjabi films, and is known as antagonist Shakaal in Shaan (1980) inspired by the character of Blofeld from James Bond movies. Starting with Delhi-based theatre group Yatrik in the 1960s, he moved to films with Sai Paranjpye’s Jadu Ka Shankh in 1974, he worked several parallel cinema films.

Mukesh (born Mukesh Babu on October 21, 1960) is an Indian film actor and producer known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Mukesh made his debut in the film Baloon (1982). He gained prominence for both his comedy and drama centered roles, in films such as Odaruthammava Aalariyam (1984).

Sangeetha Arvind-Krish (born 21 October 1978) is an Indian film actress, model and female playback singer. Making her acting debut in the mid-90s, she is probably best known for her performances in the films Khadgam, Pithamagan, Uyir and Dhanam.

Farooq Abdullah born 21 October 1937 in Soura, Jammu & Kashmir, India), is the son of Sheikh Abdullah, is a doctor of medicine and has served as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir on several occasions since 1982.

Shammi Kapoor ( born Shamsher Raj Prithviraj Kapoor; 21 October 1931. – 14 August 2011) was an Indian film actor and director. He was a prominent lead actor in Hindi cinema from the late 1950s until the early 1970s and played supportng roles from 1974 to 2011.

Yash Raj Chopra (born 27 September 1932 in Lahore, British India) is an Indian filmmaker, film director, screenwriter, and a highly successful Bollywood producer. Waqt, Deewar, Kabhi Kabhie, Silsila, Lamhe, Chandni, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, and Veer-Zaara are some of his highly popular movies. He is the founder of Yash Raj Films.

Muthuswami Dikshitar (March 24, 1775 – October 21, 1835) is a South Indian poet and composer and is one of the Musical Trinity of Carnatic music. His compositions, of which around 500 are commonly known, are noted for their contemplative nature.

Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre (31 January 1896 – 21 October 1981) was amongst the most famous of Kannada poets of the Navodaya Period. Praised as varakavi, literally ‘gifted poet’, he was the second person among eight recipients of Jnanpith Award for Kannada.

Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (21 May 1921 – 21 October 1990), also known by his spiritual name, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (Ánandamúrti, as he was called by his early disciples, is a sanscrit word meaning “Bliss personified”), was an Indian philosopher, author, social revolutionary, poet, composer and linguist. Sarkar was the founder of Ananda Marga (the Path of Bliss), a spiritual and social organization

A. Ayyappan (27 October 1949 – 21 October 2010) was a Malayalam poet in the modernist period. Born in a wealthy goldsmith’s family, in Nemom, Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala, he became a non-conformist member of reading Malayali families.
