Srinivasa Ramanujan FRS  pronunciation (help·info) (Tamil: ஸ்ரீநிவாச ராமானுஜன்) (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920) was an Indian mathematician and autodidact who, with almost no formal training in pure mathematics, made extraordinary contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series and continued fractions.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji (born: Gobind Rai) (Punjabi: ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ [ɡʊɾu ɡobɪnd sɪ́ŋɡ], Marathi: गुरु गोबिंद सिंघ; 22 December 1666 – 7 October 1708) was the Tenth of Eleven Sikh Guru Ji’. Born in Patna, Bihar in India, He was also a Warrior, Poet and Philosopher. He succeeded His Father Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji as the Leader of Sikhs at a young age of nine.
Jayamalini (or Jaya Malini) is a South Indian film actress who is famous for her vamp roles and item numbers. She acted in more than 500 Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi movies. Jayamalini was born in Sullurpeta, Andhra Pradesh on 22 December 1958.
Sarada Devi (Bengali: সারদা দেবী;  Sharodā Debi (help·info)) (22 December 1853 – 20 July 1920), born Saradamani Mukhopadhyaya (Bengali: সারদামণি মুখোপাধ্যায়), was the wife and spiritual counterpart of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, a nineteenth century mystic of Bengal.
Swami Satchidananda (December 22, 1914 – August 19, 2002), born as C. K. Ramaswamy Gounder, was an Indian religious teacher, spiritual master and yoga adept, who gained fame and following in the West during his time in New York. He was the author of many philosophical and spiritual books, including a popular illustrative book on Hatha Yoga.
V. Dakshinamoorthy (Malayalam: വി ദക്ഷിണാമൂര്‍ത്തി (born 22 December 1919) is a veteran carnatic musician and music director of Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi films, predominantly in Malayalam films. He has set scores for the songs in over 125 films. He is now retired from film music direction but is still active in classical music.

Taraknath Das (or Tarak Nath Das) (Bengali: তারকনাথ দাস) (15 June 1884 – 22 December 1958) was an anti-British Bengali Indian revolutionary and internationalist scholar. He was a pioneering immigrant in the west coast of North America and discussed his plans with Tolstoy, while organizing the Asian Indian immigrants in favor of the Indian freedom movement.
James Maurice Quinton (12 May 1874 – 22 December 1922) was an English cricketer. Quinton was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast. Quinton made his first-class debut for Oxford University in 1895 against the Marylebone Cricket Club. That same season Quinton made his County Championship debut for Hampshire against Leicestershire.
Vasant Baburao Ranjane pronunciation (help·info) (July 22, 1937 – December 22, 2011) was an Indian cricketer who played in 7 Tests between 1958 and 1964. Vasant Ranjane was a ‘slightly built, unlikely looking figure for an opening bowler’ who relied more on line and length than speed for his wickets, but could ‘swing both ways and cut the ball off the seam’.
