Mubashir Hassan (Urdu: مبشر حسن; January 22, 1922) PhD, is a Pakistani civil engineer and science administrator known for his work in Hydraulics and his political role in the development of the atomic bomb project. Janeshwar Mishra (5 August 1933 – 22 January 2010) was a politician from Samajwadi Party. He was member of the Parliament of India representing Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He was known as Chhote Lohia (Lohia Jr.) for his commitment to socialist ideology. He was born in Subh Natahi village in Ballia on 5 August 1933.

1760 In the battle at Wandiwash (India), after their victory against the French, the British virtually had no European opponent left in India.
