Prabhas Raju Uppalapati (born 23 October 1979), popularly known as Prabhas, is an Indian film actor in Telugu cinema. He made his debut with Eeshwar. His notable filmography includes Varsham, Chatrapathi, Munna, Billa, Darling, and Mr Perfect.

Sunil Bharti Mittal (born 23 October 1957) is an Indian telecom mogul, philanthropist and the founder, chairman and Group CEO of Bharti Enterprises. The US$8.3 billion turnover company runs India’s largest GSM-based mobile phone service and world’s fifth largest wireless company with over 190 million customers across 19 countries in Asia and Africa.

Perizaad Zorabian (born 23 October 1973) is an Indian actress. Her film debut was with Nagesh Kukunoor’s Bollywood Calling and she gained international recognition for her role as Jenny in Subhash Ghai’s Joggers’ Park (2003).

Aravind Adiga (born 23 October 1974) is an Indian writer and journalist. His debut novel, The White Tiger, won the 2008 Man Booker Prize. Aravind Adiga was born in Madras (now Chennai) on 23 October 1974 to Dr. K. Madhava Adiga and Usha Adiga, Kannadigas both of whom hailed from Mangalore.

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (23 October 1923 – 15 May 2010) was the 11th Vice-President of India. He served in that position from August 2002, when he was elected to a five-year term by the electoral college following the death of Krishan Kant, until he resigned on July 21, 2007, after losing the presidential election to Pratibha Patil.

Sunil Gangopadhyay (born 7 September 1934) is an Indian poet and novelist. He was born in Faridpur in what is now Bangladesh. He studied at the Surendranath College, Dumdum Motizhil College, City College, Kolkata – all affiliated with the University of Calcutta.

Subedar Joginder Singh Sahnan (26 September 1921 – 23 October 1962), a Saini Sikh, born in Moga, Punjab (British India), was a Subedar in the Indian Army who distinguished himself by winning Param Vir Chakra, the highest war-time gallantry award of the Indian Army. On 28 September 1936, he was enrolled in the 1 Sikh Regiment.

Purohita Thirunarayana Narasimhachar (17 March 1905 – 23 October 1998), commonly known as PuTiNa, was a playwright and poet of the Kannada language. Along with, Kuvempu and D. R. Bendre, he forms the well-known trio of Kannada Navodaya poets.

Srinivasa Raghavaiyangar Rangaswami Iyengar (January 6, 1887 – October 23, 1926) was an Indian lawyer and journalist who served as the editor of The Hindu from 1923 till his own death in 1926. He was the son of S. Srinivasa Raghavaiyangar and nephew of S. Kasturi Ranga Iyengar.

Bhau Kalchuri (born Vir Singh Kalchuri on January 13, 1927) is an Indian author, poet, trust administrator, and one of Meher Baba’s mandali (close disciples). Bhau Kalchuri is also the principal biographer of Meher Baba’s life. Bhau Kalchuri was born one of seven children to well-to-do parents in a northern Indian village.
