Shahid Kapoor (born 25 February 1981) is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. He is also a trained dancer. Starting off his career by working in music videos and advertisements, Kapoor made his Bollywood debut as a background dancer in Subhash Ghai’s Taal (1999). Four years later, he made his acting debut in Ishq Vishk (2003) and won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Divya Bharti (25 February 1974 – 7 April 1993) was an Indian film actress, whose acting variety hailed her as “the most interesting young actress of her generation” starring in a number of commercially successful motion pictures during the early 1990s.

Farokh Maneksha Engineer  pronunciation (help·info) (born 25 February 1938, in Mumbai) is a former Indian cricketer of Parsi background who played 46 Tests for India and played first-class cricket for Mumbai in India and Lancashire in England. Engineer’s active international career started in 1961 and continued to 1975, and he was India’s first-choice wicket-keeper for most of that period.

Balraj Madhok(b. 25 February 1920) was a president of Bharatiya Jan Sangh (BJS) and a senior politician of India in 1960s. He was born at Skardu in the former princely state of Kashmir and Jammu (now in the Pakistani Northern Areas). He started his academic and political career in Jammu and Kashmir.

Robert B. Griffiths (February 25, 1937, Etah, United Provinces of British India) is an American physicist at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the originator of the consistent histories approach to quantum mechanics, which has since been developed by himself, Roland Omnès, Murray Gell-Mann, and James Hartle.

Death anniversaries on 25th February

Kuthiravattam Pappu, often credited as Pappu, was a popular Indian stage and film actor. His repertoire of acting was based on his unique style and use of the Kozhikodan dialect, impeccable timing and the capability to grasp the subtle nuances of any character and mould it into his signature “Pappu style”.

Bommireddy Nagi Reddy (2 December 1912 – 25 February 2004) was a Telugu movie producer from Pottipadu Village in the Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh. He set up Vijaya Vauhini Studios in Chennai, which was then Asia’s biggest film studio. As his elder brother (who was also a director) had the same initials and was known as B. N. Reddy, Nagi Reddy was popularly known as B. Nagi Reddy.

Pulloottupadathu Bhaskara Menon (21 April 1924 – 25 February 2007), better known as P. Bhaskaran, was a famous Malayalam poet and lyricist of Malayalam film songs. He penned more than 3000 songs for about 250 films. He also directed 44 Malayalam feature films and 3 documentaries, produced 6 feature films and acted in several movies.

Mannathu Padmanabhan (January 2, 1878 – February 25, 1970) was a social reformer and a freedom fighter from the State of Kerala, India. He is recognised as the founder of the Nair Service Society, which claims to represent the Nair community that constitutes almost 14.5% of the population of the state.

Afaq Hussain (December 1939, Lucknow, British India – 25 February 2002, Karachi, Sindh) was a Pakistani cricketer who played in two Tests from 1961 to 1964. Afaq Hussain holds a unique record in Test cricket, having scored the most number of Test runs (66) without being dismissed.
