Soni Razdan is a British-born Indian actress and film director. of Kashmiri-German lineage. Razdan appeared as Sulochana in the hit Doordarshan TV series Buniyaad. She also acted in Indian TV serials Saahil, Gaatha & Papa kehte hain.In 2002, she turned to direction with Humaarey Tumhaarey on Zee TV, a take-off on the Michelle Pfieffer-George Clooney starrer, One Fine Day.

Aparna Sen (née Dasgupta) (Bengali: অপর্ণা সেন Ôporna Shen; born 25 October 1945) is a critically acclaimed Bengali Indian filmmaker, scriptwriter, and actress. She is the winner of three National Film Awards and eight international film festival awards. Aparna Sen was born in Calcutta to a Bengali family, originally from East Bengal (now Bangladesh).

Umesh Yadav pronunciation (help·info)(born 25 October 1987) is an Indian cricketer who currently plays for Vidarbha. A right-arm fast bowler, Yadav has played for Vidarbha at domestic level since 2008 and is the first player from the team to have played Test cricket. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe in May 2010.

Abhimanyu Mithun (Kannada: ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು ಮಿಥುನ್) (born 25 October 1989) is an Indian international cricketer. In first-class cricket, he plays for Karnataka. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Mithun was called up to the India squad for the first Test against South Africa in 2009–10, only ten weeks after making his first-class debut. He has also played in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

M. N. Venkatachaliah (born October 25, 1929) was the 25th Chief Justice of India. He served as Chief Justice from 1993 to 1994. He had education in the old State of Mysore with Bachelor’s degree in Science and Bachelor’s degree in law of the University of Mysore. He commenced the general practice of law in the year 1951, Appointed Permanent Judge of the High Court of Karnataka w.e.f. 6.11.1975.

Pandurang Vaijnath Shastri Athavale (Marathi: पांडुरंगशास्त्री आठवले) (October 19, 1920 – October 25, 2003), also known as Dada-Ji (Marathi: दादा), which literally translates as elder brother in Marathi, was an Indian philosopher, spiritual leader, social reformer and Hinduism reformist, who founded the Swadhyay Movement and the Swadhyay Parivar organization (Swadhyay Family) in 1954.

Sahir Ludhianvi (Urdu: ساحر لدھیانوی; Devanagari: साहिर लुधियानवी) (8 March 1921 – 25 October 1980) was a popular Urdu poet and Hindi lyricist and songwriter. Sahir Ludhianvi is his pseudonym. He won the Filmfare Award twice, in 1964 and 1977, and in 1971 was awarded the Padma Shri. Sahir Ludhianvi was born into the wealthy family of a Muslim Gujjar Chaudhry Fazal Muhammad as Abdul Hayee.

Jaspal Singh Bhatti (born 3 March 1955, in Amritsar, India) is an Indian television personality famous for his satirical take on the problems of the common man. He is most well known for his television series Flop Show and mini capsules Ulta Pulta which ran on Doordarshan, India’s national television network, in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Nirmal Verma (Devanāgarī: निर्मल वर्मा; 3 April 1929 – 25 October 2005) was a Hindi writer, novelist, activist and translator. He is credited as being one of the pioneers of ‘Nayi Kahani’ (New Story) literary movement of Hindi literature, wherein his first collection of stories, ‘Parinde’ (Birds) is considered its first signature.

Salur Rajeswara Rao (Telugu: సాలూరు రాజేశ్వరరావు) (10 October 1922 – 25 October 1999) was a composer of musical scores for South Indian films for over half a century. He also sang and played the harmonium. He was born in the village of Sivaramapuram, near Salur in Vizianagaram district (formerly Srikakulam district), Andhra Pradesh, India.
