Arjun Rampal (born 26 November 1972), is an Indian film actor and a former fashion model. He works for Bollywood movies. He made his acting debut in Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001), which earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

Anna Leonowens (26 November 1831 – 19 January 1915) was an English travel writer, educator, and social activist. She worked in Siam from 1862 to 1868, where she taught the wives and children of Mongkut, king of Siam. She also co-founded the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Leonowens’s experiences in Siam were fictionalised in Margaret Landon’s 1944 bestselling novel Anna .

Verghese Kurien (born 26 November 1921 at Kozhikode, Kerala) is the founder of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), an apex cooperative organization that manages the Amul food brand. He is recognised as the man behind the success of the Amul brand. He is credited with being the architect of Operation Flood—the largest dairy development program in the world.

Yash Pal (born 26 November 1926) is an Indian scientist and educator. He was raised in Pai, Kaithal, Haryana (India), graduated with a degree in physics from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1949 and gained a PhD degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1958.

Maulana Anwar Shah Al Lolabi Kashmiri (November 26, 1875 – May 28, 1933) was an scholar of Islam. During his career, he taught at a number of prominent institutions, including the Darul Uloom Deoband which contains a gate named at his honor. He authored a numbers books on Islam, which were published in Arabic and Persian. A native of Kashmir, Shah was born on 26 November 1875.

Death anniversaries on 26th November :

Hemant Karkare (Marathi: हेमंत करकरे  pronunciation (help·info)) (12 December 1954 – 26 November 2008) was the chief of the Mumbai Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). He was killed during the 2008 Mumbai attacks after being shot three times in the chest. His bravery was honoured generously with the Ashoka Chakra on 26 January 2009.

Relangi Venkata Ramaiah  (13 August 1910 – 26 November 1975) was a comedian during the golden years of Telugu film. Hailing from East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, he has acted in several films as chief comedian, hero, anti-hero and character artiste.

Gopal Vinayak Godse  (c. 1919 – November 26, 2005), was the brother of Nathuram Godse and one of the conspirators in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30, 1948. He was the last one to survive and lived his last days in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Gopal was born in Khed (now Rajgurunagar) in Pune district.

Elsie Inglis (16 August 1864 – 26 November 1917) was an innovative Scottish doctor and suffragist. She was born in the hill station town of Naini Tal, India, to John Forbes David Inglis who worked in the Indian civil service as Chief Commissioner of Oudh.

Vithal Palwankar (1884 or 1886 – November 26, 1971) was an Indian cricketer, credited with being the first Dalit (lower caste) captain of the Hindus cricket team in the Bombay Quadrangular cricket competition. He was the younger brother of the Indian spin bowler and Dalit social reformer Palwankar Baloo.
