- Salim Veragi (born July 28, 1986) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who plays for Baroda. He was born in Tankariya. Veragi made his first-class debut in January 2008, in the Elite Group semi-final of the 2007-08 Ranji Trophy tournament, playing against Delhi.

She was Femina Miss India in 1954, and was featured in the Vogue along with Maharani Gayatri Devi .
- Tarimala Nagi Reddy (11 February 1917 – 28 July 1976), often called “TN” was a communist politician from Andhra Pradesh, India. T.N. Reddy was born in a wealthy family in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. He did his schooling from Rishi Valley School India, founded by the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti.He studied at Loyola College in Madras and at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi.
- Naoomal Jeoomal Makhija (April 17, 1904, Karachi – July 28, 1980, Bombay) was India’s first opening batsman in Test cricket. Naoomal Jeoomal scored 33 and 25 opening India’s innings in their first ever Test at Lord’s in 1932. He also shared stands of 39 and 41 with his opening partner Janardan Navle in the two innings.
