Dhyan Chand (29 August 1905 – 3 December 1979) was an Indian field hockey player who was considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. Chand is most remembered for his goal-scoring feats and for his three Olympic gold medals (1928, 1932, and 1936) in field hockey, while India was dominant in the sport.

Richa Sharma (born 29 August 1972) is an Indian film playback singer as well a devotional singer. In 2006, she sang Bollywood’s longest track, the bidaai song, in film Baabul (2006). Richa Sharma was born in 5L-90, NH 5 in Faridabad, Haryana, the youngest of seven children of a temple priest.
