  • Sonu Nigam (born 30 July 1973 in Faridabad, Haryana, India) is an Indian singer whose songs have been featured in Hindi and Kannada movies, as well as films in Tamil, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Telugu. He released Indi-pop albums and acted in a few movies. He had changed the spelling of his last name from ‘Nigam’ to ‘Niigaam’ in accordance with numerology, but later returned to the original.
  • Mandakini born 30 July 1969, as Yasmeen Joseph is a former Bollywood actress. She had a brief, controversial career in Hindi movies and was rumoured to have a relationship with gangster Dawood Ibrahim. Mandakini was born in an Indian family in Meerut. Her father is British and her mother is a Kashmiri Muslim At 16, pet name Sana Anjum she was cast in the lead role in Raj Kapoor’s 1985 movie.
  • Sonu Sood (born 30 July 1973, in Moga, Punjab) is a former model and Indian actor who has acted in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. A participant in the Mr. India pageant, he has appeared in commercials for Apollo Tyres, Airtel etc. In Tollywood he is best known for his role as the antagonist, Pasupathi, in the film Arundhati. Sonu Sood was born and brought up in Moga.
  • Mahaakshay Chakraborty born on 30 July 1984, in Mumbai, India) is an Indian actor working in the Hindi film industry. He is the son of veteran film actor, Mithun Chakraborty. He debuted in the 2008 action flick, Jimmy. Though the film was well received by critics, it was a box office flop.

  • Bharathan (14 November 1940 – 30 July 1998) was an Indian film director, artist, lyricist, music director, sculptor, poster designer, editor and art director. Bharathan is noted for being the founder of a new school of film making in Malayalam cinema, along with Padmarajan, in the 1980s, which created films that were widely received while also being critically acclaimed.
  • Kazi Lhendup Dorjee (October 1904 – July 30, 2007) also spelled Kazi Lhendup Dorji or Kazi Lhendup Dorji Khangsarpa, was the first chief minister of Sikkim from 1974 to 1979 after its union with India. He was popularly known as Kazi Saab in Sikkim. Kazi Lhendup Dorjee was born in 1904 in Pakyong, East Sikkim, Sikkim. He was born into the Khangsarpa family, who were Sikkimese nobility.
  • Benjamin Walker (born November 25, 1913) is the truncated pen name of George Benjamin Walker, who also writes under the pseudonym Jivan Bhakar. He is a British citizen, and an Indian-born author on religion and philosophy, and an authority on esoterica in all its curious forms.
