Preity Zinta (born 31 January 1975) is an Indian film actress. She has appeared in Hindi films of Bollywood, as well as Telugu, Punjabi and English language films. After graduating with a degree in criminal psychology, Zinta made her acting debut in Dil Se.. in 1998 followed by a role in Soldier the same year.
Dattatreya Ramachandra Bendre(Marathi: दत्तात्रेय रामचंद्र बेंद्रे) (31 January 1896 – 21 October 1981) was amongst the most famous of Kannada poets of the Navodaya Period. Praised as varakavi, literally ‘gifted poet’, he was the second person among eight recipients of Jnanpith Award for Kannada, the highest literary honour conferred in India.
N. Vittal (born 31 January 1938), belonging to the Indian Administrative Service 1960 batch, is one of the eminent public servants of India, who has held important positions in the Government of India, most prominent of which was that of the Central Vigilance Commissioner. A Maharashtrian, he was born in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the Indian state of Kerala.
Umar Alisha (born January 31, 1966) is the 9th head (peethadhipathi) of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham. He became head of this 535-year old institution on 1989-09-09, succeeding his father, Mohiddin Badusha II. Alisha is the chairman of the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust and the Umar Alisha Sahithi Samithi.
Chengara Surendran (born 31 January 1968) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Adoor constituency of Kerala and is a member of the Communist Party of India (CPI) political party

Meher Baba (25 February 1894 – 31 January 1969), born Merwan Sheriar Irani, was an Indian mystic and spiritual master who declared publicly in 1954 that he was the Avatar of the age. Merwan Sheriar Irani was born in 1894 and led a normal childhood, showing no particularly strong inclination toward spiritual matters.
K. N. Singh (born Dehra Dun, Uttar Pradesh, British India 1 September 1908 – 31 January 2000) was a prominent villain of Hindi films. K. N. Singh came to acting by way of law, giving up his first career in 1937 to pursue his newfound interest in performance. More often than not, Singh found himself portraying a “gentleman” type of villain.
Minjur Bhaktavatsalam (October 9, 1897 – January 31, 1987) was an Indian lawyer, politician and freedom fighter from the state of Tamil Nadu. He served as the Chief Minister of Madras state from October 2, 1963 to March 6, 1967. He was the last Congress chief minister of Tamil Nadu and the last to have taken part in the Indian independence movement.
Mathai George Muthoot (February 4, 1911 – January 31, 1993) was an Indian entrepreneur and businessman, prominent for his pioneering work in the South Indian Financial Sector. He was born to a Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Christian family in Kozhencherry, Kerala, India. He, along with his father Muthoot Ninan Mathai, founded what would later become the Muthoot Group of companies.
Meka Rangaiah Appa Rao  (21 March 1915 – 31 January 2003) was Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, Member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Minster in Government of Andhra Pradesh, Member of Rajya Sabha and Telugu film producer. He is son of Meka Venkatadri Appa Rao born on 21 March 1915 at Nuzvid, Krishna district.
