  • Vir Das (born 31 May 1979) is a well-known Indian comedian and actor. Vir Saran Das was born in Dehradun and has lived in Africa and studied in Indian Language School in Lagos, Nigeria, Shimla and Delhi. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Knox College, Illinois in Economics & Theatre with a concentration in performance.
  • Devi Shri Ahilya Bai Sahib Holkar (31 May 1725 – 13 August 1795) (ruled 11 December 1767 – 13 August 1795), was the Holkar Maharani of the Malwa kingdom, India. She is honored as Punyashloka (पुण्यश्लोक) as her social work is still hailed as ideal. She is often compared with Catherine II of Russia, Elizabeth I of England, Margaret I of Denmark.

  • Amiya Charan Banerjee (23 January 1891 – 31 May 1968) was an Indian mathematician. His father Gyan Chandra Banerjee was a meritorious student of Presidency College and was a class mate of Narendranath Dutta (later Swami Vivekananda) when they studied law.
