Dayanidhi Maran    (born December 5, 1966, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India) is a member of parliament in India’s 15th Lok Sabha from Chennai Central constituency and Additional Deputy Leader of DMK. He was also the Minister for Textiles in the Union Cabinet, and has also served as the as the Minister for Communications and Information Technology before that.

He is the Chairman, Managing Director of JSW Steel, a part of the JSW Group of companies having interests in Mining, Energy, Ports, Infrastructure and Software. JSW Steel is India’s third-largest steel producer. JSW Steel has formed a strategic tie-up with the world’s sixth largest and Japan’s second largest steel producer JFE Steel.
Anjali Mandar Bhagwat , Aṅjali Mandar Bhagwat) is a professional Indianshooter. The former world number one is considered to be one of the greatest Indian women athletes of all time. She became the World Number One in 10m Air Rifle in 2002. Anjali also won her first World Cup Final in Milan, in 2003, with a score of 399/400.

Amrita Sher-Gil (January 30, 1913, – December 5, 1941), was an eminent Indian painter born to a Punjabi Sikh father and a Hungarian mother, sometimes known as India’s Frida Kahlo, and today considered an important woman painter of 20th century India, whose legacy stands at par with that of the Masters of Bengal Renaissance; she is also the ‘most expensive.
Kalki was the pen name of R. Krishnamurthy (September 9, 1899–December 5, 1954), a noted Tamil writer, film & music critic, Indian independence activist and journalist from Tamil Nadu, India. Krishnamurthy was born at Puttamangalam near Mayiladuthurai in the old Thanjavur district in an orthodox, large Brahmin family with limited means.
Swami Satyananda Saraswati (24 December 1923 – 5 December 2009), was a sannyasin, yoga teacher and guru in both his native India and the West. He founded the International Yoga Fellowship in 1956 and the Bihar School of Yoga in 1963. He has authored over 80 books, including the well-known Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha, recognised internationally as one of the most systematic yoga manuals today.
Abanindranath Tagore (7 August 1871 – 5 December 1951) was the principal artist and creator of ‘Indian Society of Oriental Art’ and the first major exponent of swadeshi values in Indian art, thereby founding the influential Bengal school of art,which led to the development of modern Indian painting He was also a noted writer, particularly for children. Popularly known as ‘Aban Thakur’.
