- Aditya Narayan Jha born 6 August 1987, in Mumbai, India, commonly known as Aditya Narayan, is an actor, television host and music composer. He is the only child of Indian playback singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan. Aditya Narayan Jha is the son of Udit And Deepa Narayan Jha. His grandfather is HareKrishna Jha and Grandmother Bhuvaneshwari Devi.
- Sara Khan is an Indian model and actress. She won the Miss Madhya Pradesh title in 2007, the Best New Talent award given by IndianTelevision.com in 2008, and the STAR Parivaar Award for the “Best Patni” (Best Wife) category in 2009. Sara Khan’s first television role was as Sadhna in Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai.
- Vishal Bhardwaj (born 6 August 1965) is an Indian film director, writer, screenwriter, producer, music composer and playback singer. Bhardwaj was born in Bijnor, but raised in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to Satya Bhardwaj, a homemaker, and Ram Bhardwaj, a popular poet and lyricist. His father was a government employee and was a sugarcane inspector.
- Cyrus Sahukar (born on August 6, 1978) is an MTV India VJ and Bollywood actor. He is known for his comic wit in shows like Semi Girebaal and other such satirical comedy shows, hosting and spoofs. Cyrus Sahukar was born in the military headquarters of MHOW, Indore. His father, Behram Sahukar, a colonel is a Parsi whereas his mother, Nimeran Sahukar, a writer, is a Punjabi.

- Murali 25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian actor and author. He was closely associated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He mainly acted in Malayalam and Tamil films. He won the National Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a communist freedom fighter and professional weaver in the film Neythukaran (2002).
- Sir Surendranath Banerjee (10 November 1848 – 6 August 1925) was one of the earliest Indian political leaders during the British Raj. He founded the Indian National Association, one of the earliest Indian political organizations, and later became a senior leader of the Indian National Congress. He was also known by the sobriquet, Rashtraguru.
- Suryaveer Singh (December 23, 1936 – August 6, 2002) was an Indian first class cricketer. His brother Hanumant Singh, cousin Kumar Indrajitsinhji and uncle K S Ranjitsinhji, all played Test cricket. An opening batsman and wicketkeeper, he succeeded as Maharawal of Banswara in April 1985. Suryaveer Singh made his first class debut for Madhya Pradesh in 1958/59.
- Sankaran Kutty Pottekkatt, popularly known as S. K. Pottekkatt, (March 13, 1913 – August 6, 1982) was a famous Malayalam writer from Kerala state, South India. He is the author of nearly sixty books which include ten novels, twenty-four collections of short stories, three anthologies of poems, eighteen travelogues, four plays, a collection of essays and a couple of books.
