Asha Bhosle (born September 8, 1933) is an Indian singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Hindi cinema, although she has a wider repertoire. Bhosle’s career started in 1943 and has spanned over six decades. She has done playback singing for over a thousand Bollywood movies.

Dr. Bhupen Hazarika  (1926–2011) was an Indian lyricist, musician, singer, poet and film-maker from Assam.. His songs, written and sung mainly in the Assamese language by himself, are marked by humanity and universal brotherhood; and have been translated and sung in many languages.

Indraneil Sengupta is an Indian model and actor, born in Assam and schooled and raised in Ahmedabad, India. He was a finalist in the 1999 Gladrags Manhunt Contest. In 2000, he moved to Mumbai to pursue modeling and modeled for designers like Rohit Bal and worked for choreographers like Marc Robinson and Achala Sachdev.

Wilfred Ruprecht Bion DSO (8 September 1897 – 8 November 1979) was an influential British psychoanalyst, who became president of the British Psychoanalytical Society from 1962 to 1965. Bion has been twinned with Jacques Lacan as “inspired bizarre analysts…who demand not that their patients get better but that they pursue Truth”.

Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy  September 8, 1892 – December 5, 1963, Beirut) was a Pakistani left-wing statesman of Bengali origin, and one of the principal Founding Fathers of modern-day Pakistan. Appointed as the fifth Prime minister of Pakistan in 1956, Suhrawardy headed Pakistan until 1957.

Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Sher-e-Kashmir (the Lion of Kashmir) (December 5, 1905, Soura, Kashmir – September 8, 1982, Srinagar), was the leader of the National Conference, Kashmir’s largest political party, and one of the most important political figures in the modern history of Jammu and Kashmir.
