Mahesh Babu (born Mahesh Babu Ghattamaneni on 9 August 1975) is an Indian film actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema. Born to actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu faced the camera at the age of four as a child artist in 1979’s Needa. His first leading role was in the film Rajakumarudu, which was released in August 1999.

Hansika Motwani (born 9 August 1991) is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil cinema, while also appearing in Hindi and Kannada cinema. She made her film debut in the Telugu film Desamuduru (2007), that fetched her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

Gangadhar Meher (renowned Oriya poet of 19th century also known as Swabhab Kavi,was a literary Midas, who transformed everything into gold by the alchemic touch of his genius. He was a born poet of delicate charm. His was a clean white style.

Rai Bahadur Gujrmal Modi (August 9, 1902–January 22, 1976) was an Indian industrialist and philanthropist, who co-established the Modi Group of companies and the industrial city of Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh in 1933, with his brother Kedar Nath Modi. Later he established from a chain of schools and colleges at his birthplace, Mahendragarh, in Patiala and in Modinagar.

Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar (9 August 1955 − 9 August 1992) was the leader of Babbar Khalsa International the most heavily armed, most feared and most powerful of dozens of the organizations in Punjab State that are fighting for an independent state for Sikhs, known as Khalistan.

Yellapragada Subbarao (12 January 1895 – 9 August 1948) was an Indian biochemist who discovered the function of adenosine triphosphate as an energy source in the cell, and developed methotrexate for the treatment of cancer.

Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Babbar (9 August 1955 − 9 August 1992) was the leader of Babbar Khalsa International the most heavily armed, most feared and most powerful of dozens of the organizations in Punjab State that are fighting for an independent state for Sikhs, known as Khalistan.
