  • Sonam Kapoor (born 9 June 1985) is an Indian film actress and fashion icon who appears in Bollywood films. Born to Indian film actor, Anil Kapoor, Kapoor chose acting as her career and followed the footsteps of her father. Kapoor made her acting debut in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor and subsequently featured in the offbeat drama Delhi-6 (2009).
  • Ameesha Patel (pronounced [əˈmiːʂaː pəˈʈeːl]; born Amisha Amit Patel on 9 June 1975) is an Indian actress who appears in mainly Bollywood movies. Making her acting debut in the blockbuster Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), Patel won critical praise for her performance in Gadar.
  • Kiran Bedi (born 9 June 1949) is an Indian social activist and a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. Bedi joined the police service in 1972 and became the first woman officer in the IPS. Bedi held the post of Director General at the Bureau of Police Research and Development before she voluntarily retired from the IPS in December 2007.
  • Karan Wahi (born June 9, 1986) is an Indian television actor. He is best known for the role of Ranveer Shishodhia from the popular teenage show Remix. He later starred as Rajveer Malhotra in the show Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari on Colors TV.

  • Maqbool Fida Husain  (17 September 1915 – 9 June 2011 commonly known as MF, was an Indian-born Qatari eminent painter. Husain was associated with Indian modernism in the 1940s.
  • Rajveer Singh Khosla (May 31, 1925 – 9 June 1991) was one of the top directors, producer and screenwriter in Hindi films from the 1950s to the 1980s. He was known for bringing in ‘neo-noir’ and style in Indian cinema since black & white times, and also as a “women’s director” because he showcased actresses at their best.
  • Hafiz Mirza Nasir Ahmad  (November 16, 1909 – June 9, 1982) was Khalifatul Masih III, head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He was elected as the third successor of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad on November 8, 1965, the day after the death of his predecessor and father, Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad.
