Zakir Hussain (born 9 March 1951), is an Indian tabla player, musical producer, film actor and composer. Hussain was born in Mumbai, India to the legendary tabla player Alla Rakha.

Shashi Tharoor (born 9 March 1956) is a Indian Member of Parliament (MP) from the Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala who entered politics in 2009.

Darsheel Safary (born 9 March 1996) is an Indian film actor working in Hindi Bollywood films. He is best known for his acclaimed portrayal of a dyslexic child in the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. In 2007, Safary made his acting debut in Taare Zameen Par, playing the film’s protagonist Ishaan Nandkishore Awasthi.

Shaheer Sheikh (born 26 March 1984) is an Indian television actor.His height is 6ft 6 in. He is best known for his lead role as Vir Mehra on the Disney Channel India original series, Kya Mast Hai Life

Karan Singh is a member of India’s Upper House of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha. He is a senior member of the ruling Indian National Congress Party, who served successively as Sadr-i-Riyasat and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

Joy Mukherjee (24 February 1939 – 9 March 2012) was an Indian film actor and director. Joy Mukherjee was the son of Sashadhar Mukherjee and Sati Devi. His father was a successful producer and a co-founder of Filmalaya Studios.

Usha Kiran (22 April 1929 – 9 March 2000) was a Hindi and Marathi film actress. In a career spanning of over four decades she has acted in over 300 Hindi and Marathi films, notably Daag (1952), Patita (1953), Baadbaan (1954), Chupke Chupke (1975), Mili (1975) and Bawarchi (1972).

Swami Sriyukteswar Giri (also spelled Sriyuktesvara)  (10 May 1855 – 9 March 1936) is the monastic name of Priyanath Karar, the guru of Swami Satyananda Giri and Paramahansa Yogananda. Sri Yukteshwar was an educator, astronomer, a Jyotisha (Vedic astrologer), a yogi, and a believer in the Bhagavad Gita and the Bible.

K. Asif (14 June 1922 – 9 March 1971) was a film director, film producer and screenwriter who was famous for his work for the Hindi epic motion picture, Mughal-e-Azam (1960).

Maharaja Bhagvatsingh Sahib (24 October 1865 – 9 March 1944) was the ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Gondal from 1869 till his death in 1944, in whose reign the state was raised to 11-gun salute state.

1961 Vishnu Sahay was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary of India. He held this office till 15-04-1962.
