• Chairman KVIC recently launched the country’s first Mobile Honey Processing Van at Village Sirora in Ghaziabad, UP.
• अध्यक्ष KVIC ने हाल ही में उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद के सिरोरा गांव में देश की पहली मोबाइल हनी प्रोसेसिंग वैन का शुभारंभ किया।
• This mobile honey processing unit can process up to 300 KG of honey in 8 hours.
• The van is also equipped with a testing laboratory, that would instantly examine the quality of honey.
• यह मोबाइल शहद प्रसंस्करण इकाई 8 घंटे में 300 KG शहद तक संसाधित कर सकती है।
• वैन में एक परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला भी है, जो तुरंत शहद की गुणवत्ता की जांच करेगी।

• The Mobile Honey Processing Van comes as a major development under KVIC’s Honey Mission which aims at training beekeepers, distributing Bee Boxes to farmers and helping them earn extra income through beekeeping activities.

• The mission was launched in August 2017 in line with the ‘Sweet Revolution’.
  The ‘Sweet Revolution’ was launched in 2016 to promote beekeeping and associated activities.
• यह मधुमक्खी पालन गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने और ग्रामीण भारत में किसानों और बेरोजगार युवाओं के बीच आत्मनिर्भर रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए लागू किया जा रहा है।
• It is being implemented to promote Bee Keeping activities and provide self-sustaining employment opportunities among farmers and unemployed youth in rural India.
• यह मधुमक्खी पालन गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने और ग्रामीण भारत में किसानों और बेरोजगार युवाओं के बीच आत्मनिर्भर रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए लागू किया जा रहा है।
• KVIC has distributed more than one lakh bee-boxes among farmers and unemployed youths across the country in less than two years under its ‘Honey Mission’ initiative to increase honey production and farmers’ income.
