India’s First Amrit Sarovar Prepared in UP’s Rampur - Burning Issues

India’s first ‘Amrit Sarovar’ has been completed at Rampur’s Gram Panchayat Patwai with the efforts of Uttar Pradesh government.

As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75 water bodies will be developed and regenerated as part of the Amrit Sarovar initiative.

The initiative is aimed at developing and rejuvenating 75 waterbodies in each district of the country, as part of celebrations to mark 75 years of Independence.

Now this pond has become a big centre of tourism in the rural area.
रामपुर में एक तालाब को कुछ ही हफ्तों में साफ और कायाकल्प कर दिया गया है।
अब यह तालाब ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में पर्यटन का बड़ा केंद्र बन गया है।
Seventy-five ponds in Rampur were selected to be developed as Amrit Sarovar.
रामपुर में पचहत्तर तालाबों को अमृत सरोवर के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए चुना गया था।
On the same lines Under the Amrit Sarovar Mission, 8,000 ponds of Haryana will be renovated by August 15, out of which work has been started on 1,600 ponds.
इसी तर्ज पर अमृत सरोवर मिशन के तहत 15 अगस्त तक हरियाणा के 8,000 तालाबों का जीर्णोद्धार किया जाएगा, जिसमें से 1,600 तालाबों पर काम शुरू कर दिया गया है।
