Vijender Singh Beniwal (born October 29, 1985) (also known as Vijender Singh or Vijender Beniwal) is an Olympic Medalist Indian boxer from Kalwash, Bhiwani district in Haryana. He was educated in his village, after which he received a bachelor’s degree from a local college in Bhiwani. He practiced boxing at the Bhiwani Boxing Club.

Nagendra Babu Konidala (Telugu: నాగేంద్ర బాబు)  pronunciation (help·info) (born 29 October 1961) is a Telugu film actor and producer. He acts mainly in supporting character roles and villain roles, though he has also played the hero in some films. He recently acted in 143, Anji, Shock, Sri Ramadasu, Chandamama and Orange.

Sridevi Vijaykumar (born on 29 October 1986) is an Indian film actress. Starting off as a child artist in the 1992 Tamil film Rickshaw Mama, she has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. Sridevi was born in Chennai as the youngest daughter of Tamil actor Vijayakumar and Manjula, a popular Telugu actress.

Jagmohan “Jag” Mundhra (29 October 1948 – 4 September 2011) was an Indian filmmaker best known for his early career as an American exploitation film writer-director and his later career as maker of such issue-oriented films as Bawandar and Provoked. Mundhra was born at Nagpur, and grew up in a Marwari locality in Calcutta, in a conservative family where films were frowned upon.

Pawan Kumar (Kannada: ಪವನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್) is a Kannada film director, actor and screenwriter. He is well known for the movies Manasaare, Pancharangi and his latest directorial debut Lifeu Ishtene. Being from a theater background, he used to write scripts for plays on stage before working as an associate director with Yograj Bhat. Pawan Kumar started his career in theater arts from the year 1998.

Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay (Konkani: कम्लादेवी छठ्ठोपाध्याय, Bengali: কম্লাদেবী চট্টোপাধ্যায়; 3 April 1903 – 29 October 1988) was an Indian social reformer, freedom fighter, and most remembered for her contribution to Indian independence movement, for being the driving force behind the renaissance of Indian handicrafts, handlooms, and theatre in post-Independence India.

K. P. Ummer (Malayalam: കെ പി ഉമ്മർ, 11 October 1930 – 29 October 2001) was a Malayalam cinema actor from Thekkepuram quarter of Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He was active in cinema from early sixties until late nineties. He was the most successful villains of his time. He played opposite Prem Nazir, who was the hero in many films, which the audience liked to watch very much.

Captain Mateen Ahmed Ansari GC (c. 1915 – 29 October 1943) of the 5th Battalion, 7th Rajput Regiment, in the Indian Army during World War II, and member of the British Army Aid Group was awarded the George Cross posthumously.

Admiral Sir William Wellclose Davis GCB DSO (11 October 1901 – 29 October 1987) was a Royal Navy officer who went on to be Vice Chief of the Naval Staff. Educated at Summer Fields School in Oxford, the Royal Naval College at Osborne and the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Davis joined the Royal Navy in 1917 towards the end of World War I.
