    • Mulayam Singh Yadav (born 22 November 1939) is an Indian politician belonging to the Samajwadi Party from Uttar Pradesh. He was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh three times from (1989–1991; 1993–1995; 2003–2007). He also served as Minister of Defense (1996–1998) in the United Front government.
    • Sanjay Gadhvi 22 November 1965 is an Indian writer and director belongs to junagadh in Gujarat. He was born to Manubhai Gadhvi, a renowned and much revered speaker, socialite and orator. His father also tried films during his young age, afterwards he quit films and focused on social work. He made his directorial debut with Tere Liye (2000) which went unnoticed.
  • Allama Sayyed Sulaiman Nadvi (Urdu: سید سلیمان ندوی) (November 22, 1884 – November 22, 1953) was an eminent Indian and Pakistani historian, biographer, littérateur and scholar of Islam. He is the author of monumental works, Sirat-un-Nabi (Life of Holy Prophet) and Khutbat-e-Madras. Sulaiman Nadvi was born on November 22, 1884 in Desna village of patna British India.
  • Leopold Charles Maurice Stennett Amery CH (22 November 1873 – 16 September 1955), usually known as Leo Amery or L. S. Amery, was a British Conservative Party politician and journalist, noted for his interest in military preparedness, India, and the British Empire. Leopold Amery was born in Gorakhpur, India to an English father and a Hungarian Jewish mother.
  • Shashank Siddamsetty (born 22 November 1979), usually credited simply as Shashank, is a Tollywood film actor. Shashank’s first film was Aithe. The film went on to be a hit. His second film, Sye, was also a hit, and he won a Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor. His third film, Anukokunda Oka Roju, was another success for him.
  • Suresh Guptara (born 22 November 1988) is a novelist of Indian and British origin, who lives in Weinfelden, Thurgau, in Switzerland. He is the twin brother of Jyoti Guptara and son of Prabhu Guptara. Guptara is perhaps best known as the co-author of the Insanity Saga, which he wrote along with his twin brother, Jyoti.

  • Duncan Cooper (c. 1813 – 22 November 1904) was an Indian-born Australian cricketer who played for Victoria. He was born in India and died in Paddington. Cooper made a single first-class appearance for the team, during the 1850–51 season, against Tasmania.
  • Vijay Rajindernath pronunciation (help·info) (born January 7, 1928 in Amritsar, died November 22, 1989 in Chennai was an Indian cricketer. Rajindernath was one of the four wicket keepers that India tried out against Pakistan in the 1952-1953 series. He played in the Test at Bombay which India won losing only four wickets.
  • Master Tara Singh (24 June 1885, Rawalpindi, Punjab – 22 November 1967, Chandigarh) was a prominent Sikh political and religious leader in the first half of the 20th century. He was instrumental in organizing the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee, in organizing Sikhs politically, and guided the Sikhs during the Partition of India.
  • “Kalki” Thiagaraja Sadasivam (Tamil:”கல்கி” தியாக்ராஜன் சதாசிவம் “Kalki” Tiyākrājaņ Catācivam) (4 September 1902 – 22 November 1997) was a leading freedom fighter, singer, journalist and film producer who was one of the founders, along with Kalki Krishnamurthy of the Tamil magazine Kalki.
  • Ravi Varma (4 June 1926 – 22 November 2010), better known by his stage name Mankada Ravi Varma, was an Indian Malayalam cinematographer and director. He is exclusively known for his association with renowned film-maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan. He has associated with other major directors such as G. Aravindan and P. N. Menon. He has also directed two films.

    • 1969 Isolation of a single gene announced by scientists at Harvard University
    • 2005 Angela Merkel becomes the first female Chancellor of Germany
