Shilpa Shetty (born 8 June 1975) is an Indian film actress and model. Since making her debut in the film Baazigar (1993), she has appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, her first leading role being in the 1994 film Aag.
Dimple Chunnibhai Kapadia (born 8 June 1957) is an Indian film actress. She made her acting debut at the age of 16, playing the title role in Raj Kapoor’s teen romance Bobby (1973). In that same year she married Indian actor Rajesh Khanna, and retired from acting.
Ronnie Screwvala (born 8 June 1956, Bombay) is an Indian film producer and CEO and founder chairman of ‘UTV Group’ (UTV Software Communications, UTVi, and UTV Motion Pictures) which recently partnered with Walt Disney
M.N. Vijayan (also known as Vijayan Mash) (8 June 1930 – 3 October 2007) was an Indian writer, orator and academic. M.N. Vijayan was born in Lokamaleshwaram, Kerala, India. He was educated in Pathinettarayalam L.P. School, Kodungallur Boys High School, Ernakulam Maharajas College, and Government Law College, Ernakulam.
P. C. Kuttikrishnan, popularly known by his penname Uroob (1915 – 1979) was a famous Malayalam writer from Kerala state, South India. He along with writers like Basheer, Thakazhi, Kesavadev, and Pottekkatt formed the progressive writers in Malayalam during the twentieth century.

Habib Tanvir (1 September 1923 – 8 June 2009) was one of the most popular Indian Urdu, Hindi playwrights, a theatre director, poet and actor. He is the writer of plays such as, Agra Bazar (1954) and Charandas Chor (1975).
K. S. R. Das (5 January 1936 – 8 June 2012) or Doss was an Indian film director and editor. He had directed many blockbuster films in many South Indian language films, primarily Telugu and Kannada films. He was born on 5 January 1936. He worked for about 40 films in different positions.
Blessed Maria Theresa Chiramel (April 26, 1876 – June 8, 1926) is the fourth Syro-Malabar Catholic Church nun from Indian state of Kerala in Thrissur, beatified by the Roman Catholic Church in 2000. She is the founder of the Holy Family Congregation.
Kolli Pratyagatma better known as Pratyagatma and K. P. Atma (b: 31 October 1925 – d: 8 June 2001) was an Indian journalist, film writer, director and producer. He was on 31 October 1925 in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Talone Ordell (1880 – 1948), better known as Tal Ordel, was an Australian actor, writer and director. He worked extensively on stage and screen as an actor in the 1910s and 1920s, playing Dad Rudd twice for Raymond Longford and Dad Hayseed – a similar role – three times for Beaumont Smith.
