Amit Jethwa (also Amit Jethava) (1975 – 20 July 2010) was an Indian environmentalist and social worker, active in the Gir Forest area near Junagadh, Gujarat. He had filed several court cases against illegal mining in the protected area, naming Bharatiya Janata Party member of parliament, Dinu Solanki as one of the respondents. On 20 July 2010 he was shot dead by two assailants on a motorbike.
Khurshed Alam Khan (born 5 February 1919) is an Indian politician and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress political party. He was Governor of Karnataka from 1991 to 1999 and governor of Goa from 1989 to 1991. Before that he was Union minister of External affairs in Government of India.
