Manoj Shyamalan ( born 6 August 1970), known professionally as M. Night Shyamalan, is an American screenwriter, film director, and producer known for making movies with contemporary supernatural plots.

Vishal Bhardwaj (born 6 August 1965) is an Indian film director, writer, screenwriter, producer, music composer and playback singer. Bhardwaj was born in Bijnor, but raised in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to Satya Bhardwaj, a homemaker, and Ram Bhardwaj, a popular poet and lyricist.

Aditya Narayan Jha born 6 August 1987, in Mumbai, India, commonly known as Aditya Narayan, is an actor, television host and music composer. He is the only child of Indian playback singer Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan. Aditya Narayan Jha is the son of Udit And Deepa Narayan Jha.

Cyrus Sahukar (born on August 6, 1978) is an MTV India VJ and Bollywood actor. He is known for his comic wit in shows like Semi Girebaal and other such satirical comedy shows, hosting and spoofs. Cyrus Sahukar was born in the military headquarters of MHOW, Indore.

Murali ( 25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian actor and author. He was closely associated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He mainly acted in Malayalam and Tamil films. He won the National Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a communist freedom fighter and professional weaver in the film Neythukaran (2002).

Sir Surendranath Banerjee (10 November 1848 – 6 August 1925) was one of the earliest Indian political leaders during the British Raj. He founded the Indian National Association, one of the earliest Indian political organizations, and later became a senior leader of the Indian National Congress.

Sankaran Kutty Pottekkatt, popularly known as S. K. Pottekkatt, (March 13, 1913 – August 6, 1982) was a famous Malayalam writer from Kerala state, South India. He is the author of nearly sixty books which include ten novels, twenty-four collections of short stories, three anthologies of poems, eighteen travelogues, four plays, a collection of essays and a couple of books.

Gopinath Bordoloi (6 June 1890–5 August 1950) was the first Chief Minister of the Indian state of Assam, and also a leading Indian independence activist. He was a follower of the Gandhian principle of non violence as a political tool.

Júlio Francisco António Adeodato Barreto (3 December 1905 – 6 August 1937), popularly known as Adeodato Barreto, was an Indo-Portuguese poet and writer. Though brought up as Catholic and in western style, his works contain important archetypes and paradigms of Hindu culture.
