Arvind Kumar Kejriwal (born 15 August 1968) is an ex – Indian Revenue Service officer and an Indian social activist fighting for greater transparency in Government. He was awarded Ramon Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership in 2006, for activating India’s Right to Information movement at grassroots.

Saif Ali Khan (born August 16, 1970) is an Indian actor known for his work in Bollywood films. He is the son of the cricket player and last titular Nawab of Pataudi, late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, and actress Sharmila Tagore, a great-grandniece of poet Rabindranath Tagore.

Mahesh Manjrekar (born 16 August 1958) is an Indian director, actor, writer and producer. He is credited with directing the critically acclaimed films Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Astitva (2000) and Viruddh… Family Comes First (2005).

David Dhawan (born Rajinder Dhawan in Jalandhar, Punjab, India) is an Indian film director. He has studied at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Dhawan started off as an editor and then took the plunge into directing. He specializes in directing comedy films, most of which have featured either Govinda, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt in lead roles, along with Raveena Tandon.

Upen Patel (born 16 August 1981) is a British Indian supermodel and Bollywood film actor. After winning Zee TV’s supermodel hunt in 2002, Patel began modelling for Hugo Boss, Paul Smith and Zegna. He started his acting career with singer/song writer Romey Gill’s “Sadeyan paran to sikhi udna.”

Ramakrishna (18 February 1836 – 16 August 1886), born Gadadhar Chattopadhyay (Gôdadhor Chôṭṭopaddhae), was a famous mystic of 19th-century India.

Renu Saluja (5 July 1952–16 August 2000) was an Indian film editor. Renu was one of the most prolific film editors in the `80s and `90s, in Hindi cinema, she worked with directors from both art house and mainstream cinema, including Govind Nihalani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sudhir Mishra, Shekhar Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, Vijay Singh in over forty feature films.

Maulvi Abdul Haq  was a scholar and linguist, who is also regarded as Baba-e-Urdu. He was a champion of the Urdu language and the demand for it to be made the national language of Pakistan. Abdul Haq was born on 16 November, 1872 in Hapur town in Ghaziabad District in India.

Ramesh Chand Saxena  (September 20, 1944, Delhi – August 16, 2011, Jamshedpur) was an Indian cricketer who played in one Test in 1967. Saxena made his first-class debut for Delhi vs Southern Punjab as a 16-year-old in the 1960/61 season, hitting an unbeaten 113 in his first first-class innings.
