Chiranjeevi (born Konidala Siva Sankara Vara Prasad on 22 August 1955) is a Indian film actor and a politician. He has worked primarily with Telugu Cinema, but has appeared in several Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in 1978 through the film Punadhirallu.

Neville Ness Wadia (22 August 1911 – 31 July 1996) was an English businessman, philanthropist and a member of the Wadia family, an old Parsi family which, by the 1840s, was one of the leading forces in the Indian shipbuilding industry, having built over a hundred warships for the British and having established trading networks around the world.

Vimi (d. August 22, 1977) was a Bollywood film actress who acted in few films such as Humraaz, Vachan, Patanga and Abroo. Vimi (Vimmi) debuted against Sunil Dutt in B. R. Chopra directed Hamraaz in 1967. The film was hit but did not much help in taking off her career.
Eknathji Ramkrishna Ranade (November 19, 1914 – August 22, 1982) was an Indian freedom fighter, a revolutionary. He had completed his M.A.(Philosophy) from Nagpur University and an L.L.B. from Sagar University. Eknathji was greatly influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Dwarkanath Vidyabhusan (1820 – 22 August 1886) was an Indian scholar, editor and publisher of the trend-setting weekly Bengali newspaper Somprakash. His father, Harachandra Bhattacharya (better known as Nyayratna) was a scholar.
