Neeru Bajwa (born 26 August 1980) is an Indian actress who started her career with Dev Anand in the bollywood film Main Solah Baras Ki and then moved onto working in Indian Soap Opera’s and Punjabi Films.

Maneka Gandhi (born 26 August 1956, Delhi, India) is an Indian politician, animal rights activist, environmentalist, former model and widow of the Indian politician, Sanjay Gandhi. She has been a minister in four governments, and has authored a number of books in the areas of etymology, law and animal welfare.

Rubina Dilaik is an Indian actress. She played Radhika, the main character in the TV series Choti Bahu, and was playing the same role in Choti Bahu 2. Rubina was born in Shimla on August 26, 1987. Rubina is from Himachal Pradesh.

Madhur Bhandarkar (born August 26, 1968) is a National Award-winning Indian film director, script writer, and producer. He is best known for his films such as Chandni Bar (2001), Page 3 (2005), Traffic Signal (2007), and Fashion (2008).

Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi (26 August 1927) is an Indian architect, considered an important figure of South Asian architecture and noted for his contributions to the evolution of architectural discourse in India. He is known for his contributions to the architecture of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. B. V. Doshi was born in Pune, India.

Avtar Kishan Hangal (born 1 February 1917), popularly known as A. K. Hangal, is an Indian character actor in Hindi language films. His most notable roles are as the Inder Sen in Shaukeen, as Bipinlal Pandey in Namak Haraam, as Rahim Chacha in Sholay and as Ram Shastri in Aaina (1977).

Subramaniam Srinivasan (10 March 1903 (official) – 26 August 1969), popularly known by his screen name S. S. Vasan, was an Indian journalist, writer, advertiser, film producer, director and business tycoon. He is the founder of the Tamil-language magazine Ananda Vikatan and the film production company Gemini Studios.

Balan K. Nair (4 April 1933 in Chemancheri, Kozhikode – 26 August 2000 in Thiruvananthapuram) was a Malayalam film actor. Even though he appeared in most films as villain, he was also noted for his performance in strong character roles.

Pamulaparthi Sadasiva Rao (July 17, 1921 – August 26, 1996) was a thinker, philosopher, and free lance journalist. He started the magazine Kakatiya Patrika in Warangal, India, in 1948 with his cousin P. V. Narasimha Rao, later Prime Minister of India.

Clair Weeks (September 14, 1911 – August 26, 1996) was an American film cartoon animator, cartoon film producer and illustrator who had prominent works for Disney Studios, the most notable being his work in the animated film classics Snow White (1937), and Bambi (1942).
