Yuvan Shankar Raja (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer, singer and occasional lyricist. He has predominantly scored music for Tamil as well as several Telugu films.

Jayasurya (born in Thrippunithura, Kochi, India) is an Indian film actor and comedian. Jayasurya made his debut in 2001 in the Malayalam film Dosth as a junior artist. He was able to make a mark for himself in the industry with performances in films such as Swapnakkoodu (2003), Pulival Kalyanam (2003), Chathikkatha Chanthu (2004),.

Rituparno Ghosh is a Bengali film director. He has won 10 National Film Awards in India and several awards at international film festivals abroad. Ghosh was born and brought up in Kolkata.

Raj Kumar Yadav (born on August 31, 1984), is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. He is graduate from Pune’s Film and Television Institute of India, Yadav was a theatre person before he was cast in with Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex aur Dhokha in 2010.

Amrita Pritam born as Amrita Kaur (August 31, 1919 – October 31, 2005) was a Punjabi writer and poet, considered the first prominent woman Punjabi poet, novelist, and essayist, and the leading 20th-century poet of the Punjabi language, who is equally loved on both the sides of the India-Pakistan border, with a career spanning over six decades.

Ashoke Kumar Sen (10 October 1913 – 31 August 1996) was an Indian barrister, a former Cabinet minister of India, and an Indian parliamentarian. He also holds the record for winning a Lok Sabha seat the most times and also the record for being not only an MP for the most years, but also a cabinet minister – serving more than 7 prime ministers.

Eruch Byramshaw Jessawala (October 13, 1916 – August 31, 2001), born in Bombay, India, was a close disciple of the silent Indian master Meher Baba, and one of his mandali. Jessawala was also the primary interpreter of Meher Baba’s alphabet board, and later his unique sign language.

Pendyala Nageswara Rao (6 March 1917 – 31 August 1984) was a popular drama actor, singer and music director in Telugu Film Industry for over 25 years from early 1950s to late 1970s. He has composed music for many successful Telugu movies during that period.

Kashiram Rana (born April 7, 1938) is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of India. In 1989, he was elected to the 9th Lok Sabha from Surat constituency in Gujarat. He was re-elected to the Lok Sabha 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004 from the same constituency.

Subbayya Sivasankaranarayana Pillai (1901–1950) was an Indian mathematician, well known for his work in number theory. He was from Tamil Nadu. He worked on Waring’s problem, in particular on the determination of exact values for the function g(n).
