Vivien Leigh, Lady Olivier (5 November 1913 – 8 July 1967) was a British actress. She won the Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal of Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), a role she also played on stage in London’s West End, as well as for her portrayal of the southern belle Scarlett O’Hara, alongside Clark Gable, in the American Civil War drama Gone with the Wind.
Vandana Shiva ( b. November 5, 1952, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India), is a philosopher, environmental activist, author and eco feminist. Shiva, currently based in Delhi, has authored more than 20 books. She was trained as a physicist and received her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 1978.

Baldev Raj Chopra (B.R. Chopra) (22 April 1914 – 5 November 2008) was an Indian director and producer of Bollywood movies and television serials. Best known for making Hindi films like Naya Daur (1957), Sadhna (1958), Kanoon (1961), Gumrah (1963) and Humrāz (1967) and the TV Series, Mahabharat in the late 1980s, he was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1998.

Mohammed Abdul-Salim Bachi Khan (1904 – 5 November 1980) was an Indian footballer from Kolkata, which at the time was part of the British Raj. By the mid-1930s Salim, a winger, was an essential member of Calcutta’s Mohammedan Sporting Club side, and helped them to claim five successive Calcutta League titles.
