Aruna Miller is an American politician who is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 15 in Montgomery County, Maryland. Miller was born November 6, 1964 in India. Her family came to the United States when she was eight years old.

Devender Singh (born 6 November 1947) is a contemporary Indian artist (painter) from Punjab. Singh was born on 6 November 1947 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father, Sewak Singh (G.D. Art Lahore), was a well-known artist himself. He received his formal education at Mumbai, Ludhiana and Chandigarh.

Basti Vaman Madhav Shenoy born on 6 November 1934) is a noted Konkani Activist popularly known as Vishwa Konkani Sardar (World Konkani Leader) and is the founder of World Konkani Centre in Mangalore.

Dinkar D. Patil (1915–2005) was a prominent Marathi film director, scriptwriter, and dialogue writer during the Golden Era (1950-1990) of the Marathi Film Industry. He directed, wrote scripts and dialogue for more than 60 Marathi films.

Sanjeev Kumar ( 9 July 1938 – 6 November 1985) was one of the most prominent Indian actors in Bollywood. Sanjeev Kumar was born as Haribhai Jariwala in Gujarat to a Gujarati family. His first home was in Surat and family based in Mumbai.

Siddhartha Shankar Ray (20 October 1920 – 6 November 2010) was an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress. He was a prominent barrister, Punjab Governor and Education minister of India.

Maharaja Nau Nihal Singh (9 March 1821 – 6 November 1840) was a Sikh ruler of the sovereign country of Punjab and the Sikh Empire. He was the son of Maharani Chand Kaur and Maharaja Kharak Singh, himself eldest son and heir of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Sher-e-Panjab and the Grandson of Datar Kaur.

Mar George Alapatt (February 11, 1900 – November 6, 1973) was the fourth Bishop of Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur, from May 1, 1944 until June 4, 1970, when he retired. Alapatt was born at Karanchira in Thrissur district on February 11, 1900. He attended all the four sessions of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965).

Bhalchandra Vaman Kelkar (September 23, 1920 – November 6, 1987) was a Marathi writer and actor, from Maharashtra, India. He was one of the founders of Progressive Dramatic Association in Pune.
