Aarti Chabria (born 21 November 1982) is an Indian actress and a former model, who appears in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada movies. Born in Mumbai, Chabria comes from a Sindhi family. Chabria was modeling from the age of 3 years.

Harekrushna Mahatab (November 21, 1899 – January 2, 1987) was a leader of the Indian National Congress, a notable figure in the Indian independence movement and the Chief Minister of Orissa from 1946 to 1950 and again from 1956 to 1961.

Premnath Malhotra (21 November 1926 – 3 November 1992) was an actor in Indian films. Born in Peshawar in a punjabi khatri family, his family moved to Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh after partition, he then had moved to Bombay. He married the actress Bina Rai with whom he fathered actor Prem Krishen and Kailash Nath (Monty).

Ruma Guha Thakurta is a Bengali actress and singer. She was born in 1934 as Ruma Ghosh. She hails from a Brahmo Bengali family. Her father was Satyen Ghosh (known as Montey Ghosh) and her mother was Sati Devi, a singer.

Ullal Srinivasa Mallya (11 November 1902 – 19 January 1965) was an Indian Politician.In served an 18 year tenure as member of Parliament, from 1946–1965. He played a key role in development of undivided Dakshina Kannada. Malliah was born in a conservative and traditional Goud Saraswat Brahmin (GSB) family in Mangalore (the family was known as Ullal Malliah) on 21 November 1902 to Sri Ullal Manjuna.

Dr. Malcom Adiseshiah, 84, noted economist and educationist, died (7 November 1888 – 21 November 1970) was an Indian physicist whose work was influential in the growth of science in India. He was the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930 for the discovery that when light traverses a transparent material, some of the light that is deflected changes in wavelength.

Air Marshal Sir John Hugh Lapsley KBE, CB, DFC, AFC, RAF (24 September 1916 – 21 November 1995) was a World War II fighter pilot and, later, a senior Royal Air Force commander. Lapsely joined the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Apprentice in 1935 later being awarded a cadetship at the RAF College Cranwell. In 1937 he was appointed to a permanent commission and a posting to No. 32 Squadron.

Ramnad V. Raghavan (June 19, 1927 – November 21, 2009) was a South Indian player of the mridangam. He was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, to P. Vaidyanatha Ayyar of Kooniyur, Tirunelveli district, and Brhannayaki. Beginning in 1970, he taught for many years at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, United States.

Lieutenant-Colonel Francis David Millet Brown VC (7 August 1837 – 21 November 1895) was an Irish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Tiruppur Subrahmanya Avinashilingam Chettiar (5 May 1903 – 21 November 1991) was an Indian lawyer, politician, freedom-fighter and Gandhian. He served as the Education Minister of Madras Presidency from 1946 to 1949 and was responsible for introducing Tamil as the medium of instruction.
