Chakravarti Rajagopalachari  (10 December 1878 – 25 December 1972), informally called Rajaji or C.R., was an Indian lawyer, independence activist, politician, writer and statesman. Rajagopalachari was the last Governor-General of India.
Mohammad Ali Jouhar (10 December 1878 – 4 January 1931) was an Indian Muslim leader, activist, scholar, journalist and poet, and was among the leading figures of the Khilafat Movement. He was the sixth Muslim to become the President of Indian National Congress and it lasted only for few months.
Surendranatha Thilakan  born 10 December 1938), known mononymously as Thilakan, is an Indian actor who works in Malayalam cinema and theatre. Thilakan is regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, known for his excellence in character roles. He was awarded Padma Shri on 25 January 2009.
Kamna Jethmalani is an Indian film actress. She debuted in 2005 with the Telugu film Premikulu and had her first commercial success with her third feature film Ranam. Subsequently, she played the lead role in a number of Telugu-language films, while also debuting and appearing in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films.
Prem Pal Singh Rawat born 10 December 1957), also known as Maharaji and formerly known as Guru Maharaj Ji and Balyogeshwar, teaches a meditation practice he calls Knowledge. At the age of eight, he succeeded his father Hans Ji Maharaj as leader of the Divine Light Mission (Divya Sandesh Parishad) .
Sujatha 10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was a popular South Indian actress who has performed in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi language films, and was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. Sujatha was introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander as a protagonist in Aval Oru Thodar Kathai (1974).

Kota Shivaram Karanth (October 10, 1902 – December 9, 1997) was a major Kannada writer, social activist, environmentalist, Yakshagana artist, film maker and thinker. He was described as the “Rabindranath Tagore of Modern India who has been one of the finest novelists-activists since independence” by Ramachandra Guha.
Roquia Sakhawat Hussain,(1880 – December 9, 1932) was a prolific writer and a social worker in undivided Bengal in the early 20th century. She is most famous for her efforts on behalf of gender equality and other social issues. She established the first school aimed primarily at Muslim girls, which still exists today.
Nirala (1936-1998), whose real name was Syed Muzaffar Husain Zaidi (Urdu: مظفر), was a Pakistani comedian and film actor of the 1960s. He only appeared in Urdu films made in Pakistan. His first film was Aur bhi gham hain (1960). His last film was Choroan Ka Badshah, which was released three years after his death in 1988.
Aghore Nath Gupta  was a great scholar of Buddhism and a preacher of the Brahmo Samaj. He was designated Sadhu (saint) after his premature death in recognition of his pious life. Sivanath Sastri wrote about him, “His unfeigned humility, deep spirituality and earnest devotion were a new revelation to the members of the Samaj.”

Notable Moment In History 

 10-December-1857 Veer Narayan Singh organised a small group and had an encounter with British army. He was charged treason and sentenced to death. He was executed publicly.
10-December-1886 Ardeshir M. Irani, producer, director, exhibitor and founder of Star Films Ltd. Bombay, was born at Poona. His first film was ‘Veer Abhimanyu’.
10-December-1902 Sir Ronald Ross was awarded the Nobel Prize for medicine for detecting the cause of Malaria.
10-December-1905 Robert Koch received the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his work on Tuberculosis.
