Naresh Goyal (born July 29, 1950) is an Indian businessman and founder Chairman of Jet Airways. He started operating Jet Airways in 1993. Following the 2005 IPO of Jet Airways, Forbes magazine declared him the sixteenth richest person in India with a net worth of $1.9 billion.
Chaudhary Charan Singh (23 December 1902 – 29 May 1987) was the fifth Prime Minister of the Republic of India, serving from 28 July 1979 until 14 January 1980. Born into a Jat family in 1902, Charan Singh entered politics as part of the Independence Movement.
Kumar Valavhadas Pallana (born 23 December 1918) is an Indian character actor and vaudevillian. He performed on the Mickey Mouse Club as a plate spinner and juggler. Pallana owned a coffee shop, Cosmic Cup (now Cosmic Cafe), in Dallas, Texas where Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson frequented.

Pamulaparti VenkataNarasimha Rao” (28 June 1921 – 23 December 2004) was an Indian lawyer, politician, and activist who served as the ninth Prime Minister of India (1991–1996). He led an important administration, overseeing a major economic transformation and several home incidents affecting national security of India.
Kannoth Karunakaran ( July 5, 1918 – December 23, 2010) was a senior stalwart politician from Kerala, India belonging to Indian National Congress party and was a close lieutenant of former Prime Ministers of India Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
P. Kakkan (June 18, 1908 – December 23, 1981) was a Dalit leader, freedom fighter and Indian politician who served as a member of the Constituent Assembly of India, Member of Parliament, President of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee and in various ministerial posts in Congress Governments in the erstwhile Madras state between 1957 and 1967.
Sir William Hay Macnaghten, 1st Baronet (24 August 1793 – 23 December 1841) was a British civil servant in India, who played a major part in the First Anglo-Afghan War. He was the second son of Sir Francis Macnaghten, Bart., judge of the supreme courts of Madras and Calcutta, and was educated at Charterhouse. He went to Madras as a cadet in 1809, but in 1816 joined the Bengal Civil Service.
Dr. G.S. Shivarudrappa (born February 7, 1926) is a Kannada poet, writer and researcher who was awarded the title of Rashtrakavi by the Government of Karnataka on November 1, 2006. G.S. Shivarudrappa was born in Shikaripura, in Shivamogga district of Karnataka. His father was a school teacher.
