Prabhu Ganesan (born December 31, 1956) is a Tamil film actor and producer. He is the son of veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan.His son Vikram Prabhu is also a budding actor. After making his debut in the film Sangili in 1982, he has acted in over 150 films.

Shrilal Shukla (31 December 1925 – 28 October 2011) was a Hindi writer, notable for his satire. He worked as a Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officer for the state government of Uttar Pradesh, later inducted into the IAS. He has written over 25 books, including Makaan, Sooni Ghaati Ka Sooraj, Pehla Padaav and Bisrampur Ka Sant.

Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai (12 August 1919 – 31 December 1971) was an Indian physicist. He is considered to be the father of the Indian space program. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai was born on 12 August 1919 in the city of Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat in western India.
Raj Narain (1917 – December 31, 1986) was an Indian politician who, as a candidate of Janata Party for the Lok Sabha in 1977, ran for office in Rae Bareli constituency and defeated Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India.

T. M. Chidambara Ragunathan (b. 20 October 1923 – d. 31 December 2001), was a Tamil, writer, translator, journalist and literary critic from Tamil Nadu, India. He is also known as T. M. C. Ragunathan, Tho. Mu. Si. Ragunathan or by his Tamil initials as Tho. Mu. Si. Ragunathan was born in Tirunelveli in 1923.
Dr Rafiq Hussain (14 May 1913 – 31 December 1990) was an Urdu writer, poet and critic from India. Dr Rafiq Husain s/o Syed Mohammed Taqi was born into an aristocratic family in Baragaon, Jalalpur, Ambedkar Nagar district, previously known as Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was the first Indian Ph.D. holder in Urdu poetry of Allama Iqbal.
